On 8/31/25, the Sacramento Police Department was called out to the property due to unknown persons entering the home and garage. At that time the vehicle was still there. On June 11, 2025, an elderly woman was scammed while using an ATM at a bank in downtown Davis. After completing her transaction, she was approached by a man who is believed to have been pretending to wait in line. The man called her back to the ATM, claiming she had not finished her transaction, and offered to help. After observing her enter her PIN, he secretly took her ATM card and replaced it with another. Over the next two days, the suspect made several large withdrawals from the victim’s account. The Davis Police Department has opened an investigation into the case.
