Crime Stoppers encourages members of the community to assist law enforcement in the fight against crime by helping overcome two of the primary barriers to community involvement: fear and apathy.

Crime Stoppers provides a tip line available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, giving citizens a safe and confidential way to provide information that may assist law enforcement in preventing and solving crimes.

Callers can remain anonymous and may be eligible to receive a cash reward if the information provided leads to an arrest or grand jury indictment of a felony offender.

Kentuckiana Crime Stoppers operates in affiliation with a local law enforcement agency and works in partnership with law enforcement organizations at the local, state, and federal levels. These partnerships allow Crime Stoppers to serve as a trusted connection between the community and law enforcement while supporting our shared goal of making the Kentuckiana region safer.

Crime Stoppers relies on volunteer Directors and tax-deductible contributions from the public to support the administration and operation of the program.
