Efland Man Attempts To Flee Deputies Facing Multiple Felony Charges
 
On Thursday, October 9, 2025, at 10:32 pm, Deputies observed a vehicle with an illegible paper license tag driving on N. Graham-Hopedale Rd. near Burlington, NC. Upon activating blue lights and siren, the driver attempted to flee. Deputies observed the vehicle repeatedly crossing the center, running stoplights and stop signs.
 
While on Hazel Dr. in Burlington, the vehicle began a slow roll at which point the driver exited and fled on foot towards a wooded area. The driver, identified as Isaiah Laczar Long, was apprehended after a brief foot chase.
 
Mr. Long was arrested and transported to the Alamance County Sheriff's Office.

Two Arrested In Green Level Shooting
 
On Saturday, September 20, 2025, at approximately 3:20 a.m., Deputies were dispatched to a ‘Shots Fired’ call at 1430 Florence St., Green Level, N.C.
 
On arrival, Deputies estimated that over 200 people, who attended a party at the location, were fleeing the scene seeking safety. In addition to the pedestrians, vehicles were blocking the road hampering first responders’ efforts to reach the victims.
 
After locating the crime scene, responding officers were informed that five people were injured by gunfire.

Jikwon Devonte Bradsher, B/M/22

The wounded were triaged by Deputies and EMS based on the seriousness of their wounds. Two of the wounded left the scene and drove to the Flying J Truck Stop. EMS was called and transported both to a local hospital as were two victims from the scene of the shooting.
Two arrests have been made in this ongoing investigation.

Burlington, NC | Preliminary investigations revealed that an altercation between two groups of individuals in the parking lot of Beaumont Court Apartments escalated, leading to the shooting. The victim, a 33-year-old-female, was treated at a local hospital and has since been released. Following the investigation on October 1, 2025, two individuals identified, as Tyrrill Lamar Oliver, 33-year-old-male, and Khristopher Sean Walker, 28-year-old-male, were identified as participants in the incident. Both have been charged with Accessory after the Fact to Assault Inflicting Serious Injury.

On October 7, 2025, the Criminal Investigations Division executed a search warrant at a residence on Denise Dr. in Burlington, NC, as part of the ongoing investigation.

As a result, Demonte Raekwon Fuller, 29-year-old-male, was charged with Possession with Intent to Sell and Distribute Marijuana, Possession with Intent to Sell and Distribute within 1,000 Feet from a Child Care Center, Assault with a Deadly Weapon with Intent to Kill inflicting Serious Injury and Attempted Assault with a Deadly Weapon with Intent to Kill Inflicting Serious Injury. He was taken to Alamance County Jail and processed where he received no bond.

Burlington Man Arrested On Federal Firearms Charges

On Thursday, September 18, 2025, the Alamance County Sheriff’s Office Strike Team conducted a routine traffic stop on a vehicle in the town of Green Level, N.C.

During the traffic stop, Kawaun Lynn was found to have an active warrant issued by the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives for a Firearms related offense.

Mr. Lynn was taken into custody and transported to the Alamance County Detention Center. He was later transferred to the custody of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms.

On Friday, September 19, 2025, at approximately 9:30 a.m., investigators with the Alamance Narcotics Enforcement Team (ANET) executed a search warrant in the 1900 block Woodhue Dr., Burlington, North Carolina.
 
This investigation was initiated in response to a community complaint regarding suspected narcotics activity at the residence.
 
During the search, investigators arrested Robert Wayne Grooms, Jr. Mr. Grooms was charged with Trafficking Opium or Heroin, Maintaining a Dwelling for the Sale of a Controlled Substance, Sale of a Controlled Substance within 1,000 feet of a School, Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Methamphetamine, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

In July 2025, members of the Invictus Task Force initiated an investigation related to a Cybertip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. During the course of the investigation, Brian Curtis Rudd was identified as a suspect. On August 11, 2025, after consultation with the Alamance County District Attorneys Office, Rudd was charged with (2) count of Second-Degree Sexual Exploitation of a Minor and (1) count Fail to Register Sex Offender.

 

On September 11, 2025, Brian Curtis Rudd was taken into custody by the U.S. Marshal Service in Lancaster, PA. Rudd was transported to a detention center in Lancaster, PA, where he is being held without bond, pending extradition back to Alamance County, North Carolina. The investigation is ongoing, and anyone with information is asked to contact the Alamance County Sheriff’s Office Invictus Task Force representatives.

Burlington, NC | On September 15, 2025, Gonzalo Agustin Montoya Robles, a 22-year-old male, was identified as the suspect in this robbery. Robles was arrested by the Mebane Police Department while possessing the stolen 2002 Nissan Xterra. The Burlington Police Department subsequently charged Robles with two counts of Common Law Robbery and one count of Assault on a Female. Robles was transferred to the Alamance County Jail, where he received a $65,000
secured bond.

The vehicle stolen during the incident has not been located. The vehicle is a Burgundy 2002 Nissan Xterra, NC License Plate PLH-7115. Burlington, NC | On August 25th, 2025, at approximately 3:04 p.m., officers from the Burlington Police Department were dispatched to Boston Cleaners, located at 2182 N Church Street, in reference to a reported robbery. Upon arrival, officers located a victim who had sustained injuries from a physical assault. The victim was transported to a local hospital, where they are being treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
 
The preliminary investigation revealed that the suspect is described as a light-skinned male, approximately 5’10” tall, weighing 250 pounds, possibly with a goatee secured by a rubber band. The suspect physically assaulted the victim and fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency as well as the victim’s vehicle. The vehicle is a Burgandy 2002 Nissan Xterra, NC License Plate PLH-7115. No weapons were utilized during the robbery.
 
There is no other information available at this time, as our officers are in the early stages of the investigation.

In April 2025, members of the Invictus Task Force initiated an investigation related to a Cybertip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. During the course of the investigation, Marcus Alexander Perry was identified as a suspect.
 
On August 22, 2025, a search warrant was executed by members of the Invictus Task Force, and, as a result, Marcus Alexander Perry was taken into custody and charged with (1) count of Third-Degree Sexual Exploitation of a Minor. Perry was transported to the Alamance County Detention Center, where the magistrate issued a $10,000 secure bond and set a first appearance in Alamance County District Court for August 25, 2025. The investigation is ongoing, and anyone with information is asked to contact the Alamance County Sheriff’s Office Invictus Task Force representatives.

Burlington, NC | On August 16, 2025, at approximately 4:15 p.m., officers with the Burlington Police Department responded to reports of a shooting in the 1300 block of Hilldale Drive.
 
Responding officers determined that the incident was isolated. The victim was transported to a local hospital and is currently in stable condition.
 
As a result of the investigation, Chace Harold Loney, 47, of Burlington, was arrested and charged with Assault With a Deadly Weapon Inflicting Serious Injury With Intent to Kill. Loney is being held at the Alamance County Detention Center without bond.

Stolen Vehicle Pursuit Ends in Arrests
 
On Aug. 13, MPD officers located a stolen Toyota 4Runner after a 911 caller reported it tried to run them off I-40/I-85. The driver fled, leading officers on a pursuit that ended in Durham. Two adults and two juveniles were arrested, and a firearm and suspected cocaine were recovered.

On Monday, August 11, 2025, after a narcotics related investigation, the Alamance County Sheriff’s Office Street Crimes Unit conducted a search warrant at a residence in the 200 block of W. Parker St., Graham, N.C.
 
During the search the resident was identified as Antonio Onofrio Wakefield. Mr. Wakefield was found to be in possession of methamphetamine, fentanyl, Xanax, and two firearms. Mr. Wakefield was placed under arrest and transported to the Alamance County Detention Center.

On 05/09/2025 at 11:12 PM, Officers with the Graham Police Department responded to the 200 block of Walker Ave in Graham in reference to a Home Invasion and Shooting. The residence was occupied by a mother, father, and two small children at the time of the crime. The male resident was found inside suffering form multiple guns shot wounds. He was transported by EMS to a local hospital where currently remains in serious condition. This remains an on-going investigation at this time.

On Friday, August 1, 2025, Deputies were made aware of an alleged sexual offense believed to have occurred in Green Level, N.C.
During the investigation, Criminal Investigation Division Detectives identified the suspect as Cad Lamar Lindsey, Sr. of Green Level.

On Friday, July 25, 2025, Deputies responded to a report of possible Breaking and Entering in southern Alamance County. While conducting the investigation, information was obtained that an alleged sexual assault had occurred between the female resident and a male on Sunday, July 20, 2025.
