Shots Fired Investigation

On Saturday, 1/30/2021, at 9:55 PM, officers were called to the 1300 block of Ashland Ave for a report of shots fired. Officers located fired shell casings in the street and found that a single home was struck by a number of bullets. No one was injured by the gunshots.

On Sunday, January 10th, 2021, the Sheboygan Police Department investigated a burglary at Sheboygan Christian School located at 929 Greenfield Avenue. At 8:26 PM a suspect made an entry and took undisclosed items from the school. The suspect is believed to be a white male, approximately 5’ 07” wearing a baseball hat, hood, mask and gloves. He was also wearing glasses, a blue Nike sweatshirt under a vest, dark pants, blue shoes and was wearing a blue backpack.

Theft of Building Materials

On Thursday, January 7th, 2021, the Sheboygan County Sheriff's Department investigated a theft at a new construction site for Edgewater Plumbing located at 4320 Industrial Court in the Town of Sheboygan.  120 rolls of roofing insulation were noticed missing on December 4th, 2020.  The insulation rolls were described as being unfaced in two foot widths and stored in two enclosed semi trailers parked on the street.  The last time the insulation was observed in the trailers was November 24th, 2020.

During the fall months of 2020, the City of Sheboygan Police Department has investigated a rash of vehicles that have had their windows smashed out on the north side of Sheboygan.  It is believed that the suspect or suspects are operating during the hours of darkness.  The public is asked to remain vigilant and report suspicious activity when observed.  Also, make sure that you do not keep valuables such as prescription medication, electronic items or firearms in your vehicles.  Please keep you vehicles locked and in a garage when available.  Anyone with information about the person or persons responsible for the damage and thefts is asked to call the Sheboygan Police Department or Crime Stoppers.

On Sunday, October 11, 2020, the Sheboygan Falls Police Department responded to 412 Broadway Street (Hair Graphics) for a reported burglary.  Upon investigation, it was determined forced entry was gained, during the evening or early morning hours, by removing a screen and prying open a window.  A cell phone along with $250 of US currency was stolen.  


Damage to Property - Vandalism

During the evening hours of September 17th, 2020 criminal damage to property had occurred and was reported by five area residences.  The vandalism, which consisted of black spray-painted graffiti was found on driveways, buildings and vehicles in the area of 1700 and 1800 block of N. 8th and N. 9th Street in the City of Sheboygan.

Boat Motor Theft - Mallard Storage

On Wednesday, April 1st 2020, the Sheboygan County Sheriff's Department was dispatched to the location of Mallard Storage Units at W4915 County Road N in the Town of Lyndon for a stolen outboard motor.  The motor is described as a Mercury 9.9 hp 4 stroke motor and was taken off a 1984 Rinker Boat.  The Sheboygan County Sheriff's Department is asking for assistance to identify the suspect(s) and to locate the stolen motor.

 

 


Theft from Sheboygan Falls Ace Hardware

On Tuesday, March 17th, 2020, the Sheboygan Falls Police Department was dispatched to the Ace Hardware at 1246 Fond Du Lake Avenue in the City of Sheboygan Falls, reference retail theft.  Two white males entered the store between 4:55 PM and 5:39 PM, they proceeded to walk around the store, conceal and steal multiple Milwaukee brand cordless tools with a total value of over $2,800.  The Sheboygan Falls Police Department is asking for assistance of the community to identify these individuals.
 



Arson - End Park

On Sunday, October 6th, 2019, at approximately 7:00 p.m., the City of Sheboygan Police Department was dispatched to the area of End Park, 1236 Bell Avenue in the City of Sheboygan; reference Arson.  The intentional fires took place in both restrooms, which resulted in the City of Sheboygan Fire Department responding to extinguish the flames.  Three individuals were observed leaving the area just prior to the discovery of the fires.  They are described as two females who left eastbound in a vehicle and a white male with blonde hair and was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt was observed walking southeast through the park.  The City of Sheboygan Police Department is asking the community for help to identify the suspects.

On Wednesday, September 11th, 2019 the Sheboygan County Sheriff's Office took a complaint of vandalism to the Rudy Mahler Park, which is located at 3716 N. 8th Street in the Town of Sheboygan.  The criminal damage to property consisted of 10 newly planted trees being damaged.  The trees were broken during the evenings of Thursday, September 5th and Friday, September 6th, 2019.  The damage is estimated to be $700.  The Sheboygan County Sheriff's Office is asking the community for help to identify the suspects.
