April 15, 2024
On December 14th, 2020 officers were dispatched to 652 N. 36th St. on a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located the victim, Mr. Marion Pryor, suffering from a gunshot wound. Mr. Pryor was transported to University Hospital where he was pronounced deceased. Investigation revealed the suspect was shooting from a black four-door Buick.

On October 2nd, 2020 at approximately 5:02PM, officers were dispatched to U of L Hospital on a report of a shooting victim that just arrived. Upon arrival, officers learned the victim, Mr. Austin Floyd, had been declared deceased due to a gunshot wound. Investigation revealed that Mr. Floyd was a passenger in a vehicle in the 200 block of N. 36th Street when someone shot at the vehicle striking Mr. Floyd.

Upon arrival, officers located the victim, Mr. Victor Jones, deceased after suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. On February 13th, 1988, Mr. Eddie Burnley was located inside his residence at 1626 W. Breckinridge Street, by family members who were conducting a welfare check on him. Mr. Burnley had not been seen for several days. Family members found Mr. Burnley deceased from an apparent murder.

On November 8th, 2021 at approximately 10:21PM, police responded to 235 Cecil Ave. on a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located Mr. Robert Sanders and Ms. Essance Duvall, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. EMS pronounced Mr. Sanders deceased at the scene and Ms. Duvall died at University Hospital a short time later.

Upon arrival, officers located Mr. Reginald Speight, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was lying next to his running vehicle. Mr. Speight was pronounced dead at the scene.
