ON WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 23, 2020 AT APPROXIMATELY 11:00 AM, IN FRONT OF 171 LEXINGTON AVENUE IN THE CONFINES OF THE 17 PRECINCT IN MANHATTAN, THE PERPETRATOR (PICTURED ABOVE)
CONTACTED AN ELDERLY VICTIM CLAIMING TO BE AN ATTORNEY REPRESENTING THE VICTIM'S GRANDSON. THE PERPETRATOR REQUESTED THE VICTIM TO PAY $5,000 TO BAIL THE VICTIM'S GRANDSON OUT OF JAIL AFTER AN APPARENT CAR ACCIDENT. THE VICTIM GAVE THE PERPETRATOR $5,000. IT WAS LATER DETERMINED THE VICTIM'S GRANDSON WAS NEVER IN A ACCIDENT OR IN NEED OF $5,000.
