The Vancouver Police Department in conjunction with Crime Stoppers of Oregon is asking for the public's assistance in locating a missing person.

 

On March 26th, Cristina Ase, a 61-year-old Vancouver woman, was reported missing to the Vancouver Police Department by her husband. Coworkers of Cristina also called police when she did not show up to work earlier that morning. Cristina was last heard from at about 5:30 a.m. on March 26th.

 

Christina’s vehicle was located unoccupied in Vancouver on March 27. She is possibly carrying a black & white bag or purse. Her clothing is unknown. A photo of Cristina Ase is included with this release.

 

Investigators are asking anyone with information on the whereabouts of Chrisina Ase, to contact Crime Stoppers of Oregon.

Crime Stoppers Featured Case #24-06
April 10, 2024

The Portland Police Bureau in conjunction with Crime Stoppers of Oregon is asking for the public's assistance in locating a wanted murder suspect.

 

An investigation by PPB Homicide Unit detectives of a February 5th fatal shooting in the St. Johns Neighborhood has led them to a primary suspect, Harold “Bob” Dulaney, 53, of Portland.  

 

There is an active arrest warrant for Dulaney for Murder in the Second Degree and Unlawful Use of a Weapon. Efforts to locate him have so far been unsuccessful.

 

He is a Caucasian male, 53-years-old, 6’3” in height, 260lbs with brown hair and hazel eyes.  He is known to walk in a hunched posture and sometimes may use a cane.  The evening of the homicide, he was wearing a black winter coat with gray accents on the shoulders.  Photos of Dulaney are included in this release.

Crime Stoppers Featured Case #24-05 - Assault on Medically Fragile Elderly Man

The Portland Police Bureau, in partnership with Crime Stoppers of Oregon, is asking for the public's help in identifying and locating an assault suspect. 
On March 6th, 2024, a medically fragile elderly man was severely injured in an unprovoked attack at NW 13th / NW Couch Street in Portland’s Pearl District.  The subject is described as an African American male, approximately 5’8 – 5’10 with a medium build.  The subject was wearing a black down jacket, gray hoodie and gray pants with black tennis shoes.  It is believed the subject may live in and frequent this area.  The suspect may be known to wear clothing with prints of "Tom and Jerry."

Crime Stoppers Featured Case #24-03 - Ontario, OR Homicide
January 18, 2024

The Malheur County Sheriff’s Office, in partnership with Crime Stoppers of Oregon, is asking for the public’s help in locating the suspect who shot and killed a man in Ontario, Oregon on January 16, 2024.

 

On Tuesday afternoon , January 16, 2024, shortly before 4:00pm, law enforcement personnel from the Malheur County Sheriff’s Office, Ontario Police Department and the Oregon State Police were dispatched to the area of 1167 NW 22nd Avenue after a 911 caller reported a man had been shot.

 

Law enforcement arrived on scene and located one victim with serious injuries. The suspect(s) in the shooting fled just prior to deputies arriving. Attempts to provide emergency medical assistance to the man were not successful, he was later pronounced deceased.

 

A vehicle was observed leaving the scene after the shooting with multiple occupants.

 

The Malheur County Sheriff’s Office is asking for tips to identify the suspect(s) involved in the shooting as well as the vehicle.

January 15, 2024

With assistance of Crime Stoppers of Oregon, the Washougal Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in the unsolved 2020 homicide of Sandra Ladd.

 

Sandra was killed in her home in the 1900 block of 41st Street in Washougal, WA over the weekend of June 12th to 14th, 2020.

 

Sandra was a long-time resident of Washougal and retired from working with the Washougal School District. Sandra was a loving mother of four children and six grandchildren. Crime Stoppers Featured Case #24-01 - Mt. Angel Homicide
January 09, 2024

The Marion County Sheriff’s Office, in partnership with Crime Stoppers of Oregon, is asking for the public’s help in locating the suspect who shot and killed a man in Mt. Angel, on January 1, 2024.
 
On Monday morning, January 1, 2024, shortly before 6:00 a.m., law enforcement personnel from the Marion County Sheriff’s Office along with the Mt. Angel Police and Silverton Police Departments were dispatched to Pershing Street near Marquam Street in Mt. Angel after a 911 caller reported a man had been shot. Deputies arrived on scene and located one victim with serious injuries. The suspect in the shooting fled prior to deputies arriving. Attempts to provide emergency medical assistance to the man were not successful, he was pronounced deceased at the scene.
 
The suspect in the shooting has been identified as Agustin Barocio (42) from Mt. Angel. Agustin Barocio is described as 5’2” and approximately 160 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. His Oregon DMV photo is attached. Investigators are asking anyone who may have information about the incident to submit tips to Crime Stoppers of Oregon.

The Portland Police Bureau Major Crimes Unit is asking for the public’s help with identifying an assault suspect.

 

On July 3rd, 2023, at 11:01 PM at the 7’11 located at SE 148th Ave / SE Stark St, the pictured individual assaulted a man in front of his family over an argument related to fentanyl. The victim was knocked unconscious and sustained serious injuries.

Crime Stoppers Featured Case #23-22 - Richard Campion Homicide
November 13, 2023

Marion County Sheriff’s Office is continuing to investigate the death of 59-year-old Richard Champion of Sublimity, Oregon. Mr. Champion was reported missing by his family in September 2022 and was found deceased in Linn County on December 9, 2022, near northern Millersburg.

Detectives are continuing to investigate the death of Mr. Champion as a homicide. The Marion County Sheriff’s Office and Mr. Champion’s family are seeking information and tips to help solve this case. Detectives would like to speak to anyone with any information regarding Richard Champion.

Crime Stoppers Featured Case #23-21 - Unsolved Homicide of Evelyn Jeanette Weaver in Bend, Oregon
November 13, 2023

The City of Bend Police Department, in partnership with Crime Stoppers of Oregon, is asking for the public’s help to solve the murder of Evelyn Weaver.  

 

Bend Police continue to investigate the homicide of 28-year-old Evelyn Jeanette Weaver, who was found dead in her home in the 200 block of NW Hill Street in Bend, Oregon, on July 18, 2023.  

 

Weaver’s 2004 silver Honda CR-V, Oregon license plate 085BMP, was located, unoccupied, on July 20 at the corner of Shasta Way and Division Street in Klamath Falls, Oregon. A surveillance video showed the vehicle parking in that location during the early morning hours of Saturday, July 15, and an unknown individual, who appears to be an adult male, exiting the vehicle.  

 

Bend Police believe that the suspect likely traveled between Bend and Klamath Falls between the hours of 4:30 p.m. on Friday, July 14 and 3:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 15.

On 09/18/23 at approximately 8:53 PM, Maria Negrete was fatally struck by a vehicle near SE Hall Blvd and SW Pfaffle St. in Tigard, Oregon.  The driver of the unknown vehicle fled the area and has not been located. The suspect vehicle is believed to be a small or mid-sized vehicle.

Crime Stoppers Featured Case #23-20 - Jose Monroy-Castaneda Homicide
September 28, 2023

On Saturday, April 23rd, 2022 at approximately 1:12 am, a shooting occurred on SE 136th Avenue north of SE Powell Boulevard.  Jose Monroy-Castaneda (52 years old) was fatally shot at the location and another individual was seriously wounded.

 

Monroy-Castaneda's death has been ruled a homicide.  Detectives from the Portland Police Bureau's Homicide Unit are actively investigating this case.  Investigators are seeking tips that will lead to an arrest and they would like to hear from anyone with information about this homicide investigation.

Crime Stoppers Featured Case #23-19 - UPDATED
September 18, 2023

*Cassandra Steele has been located and apprehended*

 

The Portland Police Bureau, in partnership with Crime Stoppers of Oregon, is asking for the public's help in locating a wanted person in a fatal collision that occurred in 2021.

 

On 07/05/21 at 9:25pm, wife and husband Jai Hong and Chung Kim were driving home from their restaurant, the Polar King, in Gresham, when they were struck head-on by a vehicle driven by Cassandra Steele. The collision occurred at the 14200 block of SE Powell Blvd, resulting in Chung Kim being killed. 

 

A nationwide arrest warrant has been issued for Steele for the charge of Manslaughter-2nd degree, along with other criminal charges.  Steele was last known to be living somewhere in the Portland area, but may have fled to Colorado.

 

Steele may be using the alias of “Natasha Steele” or “Cassandra Richards” and may be with Timothy Brewster, age 55.  Cassandra Steele is described as 32 year old white female, approximately 5'11" tall and weighing 190 lbs.

The Portland Police Bureau, in partnership with Crime Stoppers of Oregon, is asking for the public's help to solve the November 2020 homicide of Harold Major.

On November 7, 2020, at approximately 7:33 p.m., Portland Police Bureau officers responded to the report of gunshots in the 3500 Block of Southeast 33rd Avenue. Officers arrived in the area and located a person suffering from a gunshot wound. Officers rendered medical aid to the victim until paramedics arrived, however, the victim died at the scene.

The Medical Examiner conducted an autopsy and determined that the victim, 31-year old Harold Andrew Major, died as a result of a gunshot wound and the death was ruled a homicide.

On May 11, 2023, at approximately 11:45 PM, Khamori Loving was shot and killed in the area of NE 122nd Avenue and NE Wasco Street in Portland, Oregon.  Khamori was seen speaking with an unknown female approximately 30 minutes before he was killed.  The shooter has been described as a male wearing a white, hooded sweatshirt who ran south on NE 122nd Ave after the shooting.

On Sunday, July 9th, 2023 at approximately 4:25 pm, a shooting occurred at 1530 SE 174th Avenue.  Brandon Lee Allen (33 years old) was fatally shot at the location and another individual was critically wounded.

On May 27, 2023, Randall West, 53 years of age, was located deceased in his home in the 4000 block of NE 137th Avenue in Vancouver, WA. His death has been ruled a homicide. Detectives from the Vancouver Police Department Major Crimes Unit are actively investigating this case.
 
Randall’s family shares that he was an avid fisherman in his younger years and loved to play billiards.  His family provided the attached photograph for public release.

On February 14th, 2011, Christine SPETEN was found deceased in her residence near the 1100 block of Orchard St N, Keizer, Oregon. The Keizer Police Department investigated her death and determined that she had died due to a homicide.
