In the early morning hours of April 18th, a subject along with a female accomplice broke into several Barney Millers installation vans and stole thousands of dollars in tools. The getaway car was a black 4 door station wagon.

There is a $10,000 reward being offered for information leading to an arrest in this case. On April 18th, a subject attempted to rob the Peoples Exchange Bank on Richmond Rd. After an unsuccessful attempt, he then robbed the 5/3 Bank on Bryan Station Road. A red dye pack exploded as he fled. He was spotted driving a green Kia Sorento. On April 24th just after 3am, a subject walked into the Speedway Station located at 447 E New Circle Rd. He was armed with a handgun and subsequently committed a robbery. ON APRIL 6TH AT 9:35PM A SUSPECT ENTERED THE SHELL STATION LOCATED AT 435 W NEW CIRCLE RD WITH HIS FACE COVERED IN A BLACK BANDANA AND IMPLYING A FIREARM INSIDE HIS SHIRT. HE WAS WEARING A GRAY UNIVERSITY OF KENTUCKY HOODED SWEATSHIRT AND KHAKI PANTS. HE WENT BEHIND THE COUNTER AND ORDERED THE CLERK TO OPEN THE SAFE WHICH SHE WAS UNABLE TO DO. HE THEN STOLE ALL OF THE CASH FROM THE REGISTER AND FLED THE AREA ON FOOT. THE SUSPECT IS DESCRIBED AS MALE BLACK, 20S, 5’8” 150LBS AND POSSIBLY A LOCAL TO THE AREA.

ON MARCH 18TH AT 7:00AM A PEPSI DELIVERY DRIVER REPORTED HE WAS IN THE PROCESS OF SERVICING A PEPSI MACHINE AT 208 LEGENDS LANE WHEN A MALE BLACK IN HIS 20S APPROACHED HIM FROM BEHIND AND ROBBED HIM OF THE VENDING MACHINE CASH AS WELL AS HIS KEYS. THE STOLEN KEYS WERE SUBSEQUENTLY USED ON MULTIPLE OCCASSIONS TO STEAL CASH FROM ANOTHER PEPSI MACHINE. THIS SUSPECT WAS CAPTURED ON SURVEILLANCE VIDEO AT THE CLARION HOTEL ON NEWTOWN PIKE.
JUST AFTER 8PM, A SUSPECT ENTERED THE
LOWES STORES THROUGHOUT
ON 6 SEPARATE OCCASSIONS IN 3 MONTHS, THIS SUSPECT HAS ROBBED THE SAME
AT 6:15PM A SUBJECT IS CAUGHT ON CAMERA DROPPING A BELT INTO A DOOR FRAME PREVENTING THE DOOR TO THE APARTMENT WORKOUT FACILITIES FROM CLOSING AND LOCKING. AT 7:30PM, A SECOND SUBJECT ARRIVES AND ATTEMPTS TO COVER AND DISABLE THE SECURITY CAMERAS. HE THEN GOES ON TO STEAL A LARGE FLAT SCREEN TELEVISION FROM THE PROPERTY.

ON DECEMBER 19TH JUST BEFORE NOON, A SUBJECT ENTERED THE STORE LOCATED AT
THE FIRST INCIDENT OCCURRED IN EARLY DECEMBER. A FEMALE ENTERED THE LOBBY OF THE QUALITY INN AND DEMANDED CASH FROM THE OVERNIGHT ATTENDANT. SHE IMPLIED A WEAPON AND WHEN HE CALLED HER BLUFF, SHE FLED WITHOUT ACCOMPLISHING THE THEFT. SHE RETURNED IN MID JANUARY. THIS TIME, SHE BROUGHT A HANDGUN. THE ATTENDANT COMPLIED AND SHE ESCAPED WITH AN UNDISCLOSED AMOUNT OF CASH.
Just before Christmas, a victim in Lexington mailed out dozens of cards to friends and familiy by placing them in the post office drop box located at Bluegrass Station on Lansdowne Drive. Several of the cards never made it to their destinations. This suspect was caught on camera using a gift card contained inside one of the stolen envelopes

JUST BEFORE 3AM, A MALE WHITE IN HIS 20S APPROACHED THE FOODLAND CONVENIENCE STORE CARRYING A LARGE ROCK AND HAVING A TSHIRT PULLED UP OVER HIS HEAD. HE SMASHED HIS WAY INTO THE BUSINESS AND STOLE SEVERAL HUNDRED DOLLARS IN ROLLS OF QUARTERS AND LOTTERY TICKETS. HIS IMAGE WAS CAPTURED ON CAMERA.
Lexington Police are searching for any witnesses or clues into the whereabouts of thousands of dollars in stolen tools. During the months of November and December, 13 Apartment complex tool sheds on the city`s Southeast side were broken into. All of their power tools including saws, drills, water pumps, and electrical meters have been stolen. We believe the items may have been traded for drugs.
