Summary: The Juneau Police Department is seeking information regarding a commercial burglary that occurred in the early morning hours of Friday, March 20, 2026.
At approximately 6:37 a.m., officers responded to Capital Service, located at 810 Glacier Avenue, after a vehicle was used to ram a garage door. Surveillance footage shows a Ford F-350 with an Oregon license plate striking the door. A suspect then exited the vehicle, entered the business, and appeared to search for cash.
No items were reported stolen; however, the business sustained several hundred dollars in damage.
The vehicle involved is believed to be stolen and may be connected to another ongoing investigation (JPD Case 2026-03200007).

On March 18, 2026, JPD received a report of a smoldering RV in the area. Investigation revealed the RV appeared to have been burned approximately 2–3 days prior.

Summary: The Juneau Police Department is seeking information regarding a stolen vehicle believed to be involved in a recent burglary.
On March 20, 2026, at approximately 7:17 a.m., JPD received a report of a stolen white Ford F-350 bearing an Oregon license plate. The vehicle was taken from a driveway in the 100 block of W. Sixth Street sometime during the evening hours of March 19, 2026, and was discovered missing the following morning.
The vehicle is believed to have been used in a commercial burglary that occurred on the morning of March 20, 2026 (JPD Case 2026-03200008).

The complainant reported arriving at the business around noon and discovering the lock to a connex storage container on the ground. Upon entering the container, the complainant observed that numerous tools were missing and that cabinet doors inside the connex had been opened. A second connex container on the property, which did not have a lock or door secured, was also entered, and a cargo net was reported stolen.
A shovel was found left at the scene, which is believed to have been left behind by the suspect(s).

An employee reported seeing a black van parked near the city drive-on scales for a portion of the afternoon the day prior.
Summary: On 02/11/2026, the Juneau Police Department received a report of a theft from the Extended Stay construction site. Sometime between February 7, 2026, and February 9, 2026, unknown person(s) entered the construction site and stole a concrete saw and an air compressor. The total value of the stolen property is estimated to be approximately $1,800.
Summary: Junior Siufanua was reported missing on February 24, 2026. He was last seen on February 9, 2026, in Juneau, at the Glory Hall shelter, it is unknown what he was wearing. It has been reported that he is homeless and does not have a phone, vehicle or access to money. He has been known to frequent the Glory Hall homeless shelter.

Summary: On February 8, 2026, at approximately 3:55 a.m., LJ Alarm notified Juneau Police Department Dispatch of an alarm activation at Duck Creek Market. Officers responded to the scene.
At approximately 4:03 a.m., officers arrived and observed the front door glass had been shattered. Broken glass was scattered both inside and outside the entrance. Officers checked the interior of the store and did not locate any suspects on scene.
Review of surveillance footage showed two individuals wearing dark, baggy clothing and hoods near the front entrance. One of the individuals was carrying a dark bag that appeared to contain a heavy, rock-like object.
Approximately 20 minutes later, at about 3:51 a.m., one of the individuals approached the store from the direction of the road leading to the Alderwood Apartments. The individual was later observed exiting the store carrying a full bag of items and leaving in the direction of the Alderwood Apartments.
Summary: On February 1, 2026, at approximately 1:20 p.m., the Juneau Police Department received a report of a boat break-in in the area of Crazy Horse Drive.

Summary: On January 31, 2026, at approximately 11:03 p.m., the Juneau Police Department received an anonymous report of suspicious activity at the Federal Building Bus Stop on 9th Street, with the caller stating it sounded like someone was throwing objects inside the shelter.
Officers arrived on scene approximately four minutes later and discovered that two windows of the bus stop had been broken out. The estimated damage exceeds $1,000.
Summary: On January 26, 2026, at approximately 11:23 a.m., the Juneau Police Department received a report of a storage unit break-in in the 2100 block of Industrial Boulevard.
At this time, it is unknown what items, if any, were taken from the unit. The suspect is described as appearing to be a male wearing a large white coat with the hood up.
The Juneau Police Department reminds residents and business owners to secure storage units, report suspicious activity promptly, and consider additional lighting or surveillance where possible.
Summary: On or about January 16, 2026, the Juneau Police Department responded to a report of a vehicle break-in in the 300 block of W. Ninth Street.

Summary: On December 26, the Juneau Police Department received a report of damage to a residence in the 10000 block of Glacier Highway.
The reporting party stated they discovered what appeared to be a bullet hole in the side of the residence. The estimated damage to the residence is approximately $500.00.
Summary: On December 12, 2025, the Juneau Police Department received a report of vehicle vandalism in the 1800 block of Northwood Drive.
The reporting party stated the rear window of the vehicle had been broken out. Additional damage was observed, including scratches to the vehicle and damage to the license plate.
Summary: On December 9, 2025, the Juneau Police Department received a report of a burglary at Floyd Dryden Middle School.
The suspect(s) forced entry into the building using a crowbar and stole multiple tools along with audio and video equipment.

Summary: On November 20th, 2025, the Juneau Police Department received a call for a report of a burglary from Floyd Dryden Middle School. The suspect is described to be wearing a dark jacket/sweatshirt with the hood up, goggles/glasses, a face mask, gloves, dark pants, and lighter colored shoes. Approximately $700.00 worth of tools were stolen.
Summary: On 10/22/25 at approximately 1645 hours, the Juneau Softball Association storage unit in Diamond Park was reportedly burglarized sometime between 10/18 and 10/22/25. A blank check was stolen from the storage unit.
Summary: On 10/12/25, at approximately 0308 hours, JPD officers responded to a burglary alarm at the Grind Coffee shop located at 9351 Glacier Hwy. On-scene investigation revealed that a window was broken, and video surveillance revealed one suspect entering the business. Damage to the cash register is valued at about $145.00, and the window repair is estimated at about $500.00. It appears the suspect is a male and is described as wearing a green flannel, a hat, and a yellow facemask or scarf.
Summary: On 10/03/2025, at approximately 8:31 A.M., JPD responded to a report of a burglary at Don Able Building Supply located at 9999 Glacier Highway. During the investigation, JPD learned that earlier that same day, at about 1:52 A.M., two individuals wearing masks had forced open a door to gain entry gained entry into the building. The following items were reported stolen.

Summary: On September 21, 2025, the Juneau Police Department received a report of a theft at Alaska Air Cargo. The complainant reported that a large amount of personal property, which had been loaded onto two separate pallets and shipped to Seattle, Washington via Alaska Air Cargo, was missing upon arrival.
The complainant stated the last time all items were confirmed present was when the property was dropped off at Alaska Air Cargo in Juneau. Upon attempting to retrieve the shipment in Seattle, several items were discovered missing from the pallets.
