On Thursday, July 25, 2019, Montgomery Police Patrol units responded to the 4700 Block of Park Towne Way regarding a subject suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was identified as black male Laquintin Brown, who was pronounced deceased on the scene.

The Montgomery Police Department is seeking assistance from the public into the Murder of Laquintin Brown. The four suspects captured on video surveillance are wanted for questioning regarding this Murder Investigation. Central Alabama CrimeStoppers has offered a $2,500.00 reward for any information leading to the immediate arrest of anyone involved in this crime, to be paid within 30 days. The Montgomery Police Department is investigating a November 27, 2024, homicide and is requesting the public’s help. Police ask anyone with details or information to please come forward.

Investigators say on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, at about 11:09 a.m., MPD and Fire Medics responded to the 3400 block of Harris Street, Montgomery, Alabama, in reference to a subject shot. Upon arrival, an adult male who sustained a life-threatening gunshot wound was located and transported to a local hospital for treatment.

Investigators say the victim succumbed to his injuries two days later and was pronounced deceased at a local hospital on Friday, November 29, 2024. The victim was identified as Nickqurious Hooks, 23, of Montgomery.

The circumstances surrounding this violent fatal shooting remain under investigation and investigators say a tan or silver Chevrolet Trailblazer can be seen in the provided photos canvassing the area before the shooting occurred. The vehicle was seen fleeing the scene at a high rate of speed. No other details are available for release at this time. Investigators and family ask anyone who may have seen or know something to please come forward.
