The individuals fled in a vehicle going westbound towards Broadway.

One of the individuals snatched the laptop from the victim's hand while the second individual punched the victim multiple times in the chest. The individuals then fled the location on foot traveling northbound on College Point Boulevard.

On Monday, August 24, 2026, at approximately 6:45 P.M., the victim, a 65-year-old male was walking in the vicinity of Washington Avenue and East 189 Street, when an unidentified male individual riding a Citibike approached the victim and grabbed his chain off his neck causing redness on the neck. The unidentified male individual then fled on the Citibike with the victim's gold chain to parts unknown.

On Wednesday, September 2, 2026, at approximately 5:30 P.M., the victim, a 37-year-old male was walking in the vicinity of Grand Concourse and East 183rd Street, when an unidentified male individual riding a Citibike approached the victim and grabbed his two chains off his neck. The unidentified male individual then fled on the Citibike with the victim's chains northbound on Grand Concourse to parts unknown.

On Wednesday, September 2, 2026, at approximately 7:05 P.M., the victim, a 33-year-old male was walking in the vicinity of East Kingsbridge Road and Creston Avenue, when an unidentified male individual riding a Citibike approached the victim and grabbed his two gold chains off his neck. The unidentified male individual then fled on the Citibike with the victim's chains southbound on Creston Avenue to parts unknown. 
 
Incident #4 (52 Pct)
on Thursday, September 10, 2026, at approximately 8:15 P.M., the victim, a 63-year-old female walking in the vicinity of Jerome Avenue and West Gun Hill Road, when an unidentified male individual riding a Citibike approached the victim and forcibly removed two yellow metal chains off her neck causing redness and bruising. The unidentified male individual then fled on the Citibike with the victim's chains northbound on Jerome Avenue to parts unknown.
 
The sought individual is described as a male, with a dark complexion, approximately 25 to 30 years of age, medium build, 5'9" in height and with black hair (dreads). The male individual was last seen wearing a white, tan top, black sweatpants, white sneakers, and riding on a white Citibike.

Incident #1: (73 Precinct)
It was reported to police that on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at approximately 8:40 P.M., inside of 211 Tapscott Street, a 17-year-old male victim was approached by an unidentified individual. The unidentified individual displayed a firearm and demanded cash from the register. The individual then removed $1000 and a watch before fleeing the location. The individual fled on foot eastbound on Dumont Avenue. There were no reported injuries as a result of this incident.
 
Incident #2: (77 Precinct)
It was reported to police that on Sunday, September 13, 2026, at approximately 8:58 P.M., inside of 1975 Union Street, a 56-year-old male victim was approached by an unidentified individual. The unidentified individual displayed a firearm and fired one round at the glass window. The individual then exited the location without removing any property. The individual fled on foot southbound on Ralph Avenue. There were no reported injuries as a result of this incident.
 
Incident #3: (73 Precinct)
It was reported to police that on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, at approximately 9:57 P.M., in front of 779 Saratoga Avenue, a 58-year-old male victim was approached by an unidentified individual. The unidentified individual displayed a firearm and demanded cash be placed in a bag. The individual proceeded to flee the location without removing any property. The individual fled on foot in an unknown direction. There were no reported injuries as a result of this incident.
