UPDATE:  After receiving tips it was determined the vehicle was repossessed and not stolen.  Boise Police has been contacted by the recovery company to resolve the matter.

On February 28, Boise Officers took a report of a vehicle missing from a victim's driveway.  A neighbor's camera showed an unmarked tow truck drive down the street, later passing by with the victim's vehicle a silver 2016 Toyota Camry, in tow.
 
Officers are asking for your help in identifying the unmarked tow truck and its driver.

Help Caldwell Police Catch these Attackers!
February 24, 2021

On the evening of January 6, 2021 a man was attacked in the parking lot of the Elks Lodge in Caldwell. The attackers are two white men with a clean cut appearance, in their thirties, one male was taller than the other, and one of the males was wearing a white shirt.

BPD INVESTIGATES SERIES OF SMALL FIRES
February 22, 2021

Last night around 2:40 a.m. Boise Police and Boise Fire responded to a report of a dumpster fire in downtown Boise  Within about 20 minutes, first responders responded to three additional fires in close proximity.  Each fire was quickly put out either by Boise firefighters or police officers with fire extinguishers from their vehicle.

 

Fires were located in the following areas

  • Near 560 W. Main - dumpster fire
  • Near 407 W. Main -dumpster fire
  • Near 501 W. Grove – privacy cloth attached to a fence
  • Near 621 W. Main  - dumpster fire

 

Officers immediately began an investigation and surveillance video images show a male suspect with a beard, wearing a black beanie, black sweatshirt and brown vest. At some point the suspect either took off the vest or put it under the hoodie.  Possible charges include Arson and Malicious Injury to Property. A customized boat trailer with three newer jet skis on it were stolen from the Kings Gate Storage facility on January 12th at approx. 0800. Two of the jet skis are Yamaha and the other is a SkiDo. The suspect vehicle is a dark green Nissan.

Help Identify Suspect in a Grand Theft

On Feb 8, 2021 a victim had their wallet stolen from a building in the 1000 block of N. Curtis Rd. in Boise.  A male suspect was captured on CCTV using the victim's credit card at multiple businesses in the area.

Help MPD Identify this Burglar!
February 18, 2021

MERIDIAN- The Meridian Police Department is requesting the public’s help in identifying the male suspect in the attached photos. The suspect was seen driving a white Ford F-150 extended cab pickup truck after burglarizing a vehicle in Boise. The suspect then used stolen bank cards to commit more than a dozen frauds in Nampa and Meridian on January 24th, 2021.

Help identify vehicle and suspect in accident.

UPDATE 2/18/21 - The driver has been identified.  Thank you for your tips!!

 

Boise DR#2021-102726

Officers had their hands full helping drivers who were slipping and sliding on icy roads this past weekend. Now investigators are looking for the driver of this Subaru Outback who damaged some property on Saturday morning and drove away. Around 4 a.m. the driver slid on the snow covered roads and struck two concrete planters at the entrance to a parking lot on the 700 block of W. Diamond St. After hitting both planters, the suspect pulled through the parking lot back out onto the street, got out of their car, looked at the damage to the passenger side, got back in, and drove away. The initial repair estimate is around $2500 for the damaged planters, sprinklers, and curbing.

 

If you’re involved in an accident and cause damage to property, please call dispatch to report it. The consequences of an accident like this are much worse if you leave the scene.

Help MPD Identify these Burglars!
February 03, 2021

The Meridian Police Department is seeking information on two burglary suspects.  These suspects burglarized a vehicle at a local business in the city of Meridian.  Subsequent investigation revealed the vehicle the suspects were driving was reported stolen.  The vehicle is described as a Silver Honda Accord with license plate number 2P26798 and this vehicle has since been recovered.  The male suspect is described as a white male with short brown hair and approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall, last seen wearing a red sweatshirt and blue jeans.  The female is described as a Hispanic or white female with long dark hair and heavy set.  The female was last seen wearing a black Raider’s sweatshirt, black sweatpants and sneakers.  Anyone with information regarding these individuals or the vehicle, is requested to contact Detective Jason Brown at the Meridian Police Department.

Help Identify Vehicle Burglary/Fraud Suspect.
February 02, 2021

Boise Police are investigating a vehicle burglary that occurred on February 2 in the 1800 block of Century Way, where the suspect broke the front passenger side window of the victim’s car and stole a purse. Fraudulent purchase attempts were made that day using the victim's card.
