JOIN OUR TEAM

WE NEED YOU TO MAKE IT HAPPEN

Want to get involved and make a difference in YOUR community?

Stateline Area Crime Stoppers is looking for citizens, 18 years or older to volunteer as board members. Board members will have the opportunity to take responsibility in helping Stephenson County become a safer place to live work and play. Board members meet once a month and occasionally participate in fundraisers and other community events to help raise awareness of the program.

Print off a copy of the attached application. Board meetings are held the second Tuesday of every month at 5 p.m. at Eilert's in Freeport. If you have any questions email statelineareacrimestoppers@gmail.com

If you don't want to make the commitment of being a board member but would still like to help, there are two other ways you could join our team. We have three committees that we could use help with. You don't have to be on our board of directors to be on a committee. Committees include Fundraising and Events, Marketing and Publicity and a new committee we're forming, our School Committee. If you're a teacher or school administrator, a concerned parent or someone who works close to children and you see the need to help, we want you on this committee. We plan on launching events through our school committee this fall.

We also need people to volunteer at events such as our annual golf outing, parades, symposiums or maybe you'd like to share your talents. We currently have a photographer, graphics artist and a business admin sharing their talents without joining our board. Do you have a talent that could contribute to our cause?

If you would like to join a committee or volunteer email statelineareacrimestoppers@gmail.com or call 815-235-8290.
