The United States Marshals Gulf Coast Regional Task Force requested public assistance for their search of fugitive, Shenderious Johnson, in April of 2024.
Johnson was originally wanted for violating the Sex Offender Registration Violation Notification Act by the Montgomery Police Department. Investigators say Johnson has not registered as a sex offender since 2021.
Investigators notified Central Alabama CrimeStoppers on April 10, 2024, and advised Johnson had been located and is in custody. Johnson is no longer wanted by law enforcement.
Investigators credit an anonymous tipster with providing information that led to the apprehension of Johnson. Investigators say this information from an anonymous CrimeStoppers tip was vital in the apprehension of Johnson.

Teague was originally wanted for multiple violent felony charges by the Mobile Police Department.
Investigators notified Central Alabama CrimeStoppers on April 9, 2024, and advised Teague has been located and was in custody. Teague is no longer wanted by law enforcement.

The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office notified Central Alabama CrimeStoppers and advised they have located fugitive, Alliyah Robinson, 25.
Robinson was originally wanted for receiving stolen property 2nd degree. Court documents indicate that Robinson intentionally received stolen items, including an iPad and a Mac Computer.
Investigators notified CrimeStoppers and advised Robinson was in custody and is no longer wanted by law enforcement.

SYLACAUGA – HOMICIDE INVESTIGATION UPDATE - FUGITIVE JAMIR DE’JAWN RUSS IN CUSTODY

The Sylacauga Police Department originally requested public assistance with obtaining information in the city’s first homicide investigation of the year on February 27, 2024. Investigators have since located the suspect and he is currently in custody.
At about 4:00 p.m. on February 26, 2024, Sylacauga Police Department responded to 306 S. Main Avenue, Sylacauga, Alabama, in reference to a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located an adult female who sustained a life-threatening gunshot wound. The victim was identified as Tamekia Tana Fluker, 40, of Sylacauga. Ms. Fluker was pronounced deceased on the scene.
Upon further investigation, investigators determined Jamir De’Jawn Russ, 16, as the suspect in the case. On March 4, 2024, Investigators obtained a two-count capital murder warrant on Russ in connection with the tragic shooting death of Tamekia Fluker.
Central Alabama Crimestoppers offered a $1,000.00 cash reward for any information that helped locate Russ and led to his arrest.
Investigators say Russ was adjudicated as an adult by Talladega County Circuit Judge Williams E. Hollingsworth IV on Thursday, February 29, 2024.
Investigators say Russ has been located and was taken into custody after a two-hour standoff that ended peacefully with Russ surrendering to law enforcement.

Prattville – Theft of Property 3rd Degree Suspect Identified
The Prattville Police Department requested public assistance in an ongoing felony theft and sought the public’s help with identifying the suspect in November of 2023.
Prattville Police Investigators released a photo of an unknown suspect wanted for a felony theft investigation. Investigators say the offense occurred, on October 29, 2023, at Lowes located at 2307 Cobbs Ford Road, Prattville, AL.
Investigators say the pictured suspect, identified as a black male, entered the business, and stole a pair of Kobalt brand wire cutters, exiting the store. The suspect used the same wire cutters to cut a security cable to steal a tiller and pressure washer located on the exterior of the store. The stolen items were valued at $1,026.36.
The suspect was wanted for one count of theft of property 3rd degree, which is a Class C felony.
Investigators say the suspect has since been identified and is no longer being sought by law enforcement.

Prattville – Suspects Involved in Burglary Investigation Identified
The Prattville Police Department was originally seeking information regarding a business burglary investigation. Investigators notified CrimeStoppers and advised they had identified the suspects in this ongoing investigation.
Prattville Police Investigators released a photo of unknown subjects wanted for a business burglary and theft investigation. On February 15, 2024, at about 9:00 pm, two subjects were seen stealing a DeWalt Pressure Washer on video surveillance at Prattville Health and Rehab located at 601 Jasmine Trail, Prattville, Alabama.
Investigators say two suspects arrived at the business driving the pictured 2017 Chevy Equinox, with an Alabama Tag of 4A00U15. The suspects stole a DeWalt Press Washer valued at $1,600.00.
The suspects wanted for burglary 3rd degree and theft of property 2nd degree have since been identified.
Investigators say thanks to an anonymous CrimeStoppers tip, the suspects were both identified.
Central Alabama CrimeStoppers will provide a cash reward to the brave anonymous tipster who provided information that is essential in identifying the pictured suspects.

Prattville – Subject Wanted Regarding a Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument 1st Degree Investigation Identified
The Prattville Police Department requested public assistance identifying a subject wanted for his possible involvement in a Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument 1st Degree investigation and were seeking the public’s help in identifying the pictured subject on March 5, 2024.
Prattville Police Investigators released a photo of an unknown subject involved in this ongoing investigation. Investigators say on February 21, 2024, the pictured subject paid for two items using a counterfeit bill as U.S. currency at Academy, located at 1557 Cotton Exchange, Prattville, Alabama.
Investigators say thanks to an anonymous tip from CrimeStoppers, the pictured subject was identified.
The investigation is ongoing, and no additional details are available for release at this time.

The Prattville Police Department notified Central Alabama CrimeStoppers on March 14, 2024, and advised they have located fugitive, Jaboric Lakeith Williams, 44.
Investigators originally requested public assistance from Central Alabama CrimeStoppers on March 13, 2024, and were seeking the current whereabouts of Williams. Williams was wanted for two domestic violence assault 2nd degree warrants for incidents that reportedly occurred in Prattville, Alabama.
Investigators say Williams caused serious injuries to the victim, who was pregnant during the time of the violent assault.
Investigators say thanks to an anonymous tipster’s information, Williams was located and taken into custody.
Williams is no longer wanted by law enforcement.

The Etowah County Sheriff’s Office requested public assistance from CrimeStoppers on March 4, 2024, searching for Missing/Runaway Juvenile, Sara Dena Steele, 16.
Investigators say Sara was originally last seen on March 2, 2024, at around 2:00 a.m., in Etowah County, wearing checkered pajama pants.
Investigators notified CrimeStoppers on March 7, 2024, and say Sara has since been located and was found to be safe. Investigators are not releasing additional details at this time but say more details regarding this case are soon to follow.

The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office has been searching for the location of fugitive Carlos McClure, 46. McClure was originally wanted for two felony charges. McClure has since been located and charged.
McClure was originally wanted on failure to appear on a theft of property 1st degree and receiving stolen property 1st degree charge. Court documents indicate that McClure intentionally received or retained assorted scrap metal with a value greater than $2,500.00 and failed to appear for his scheduled court date.
As requested by the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, McClure was placed on Central Alabama CrimeStoppers wanted list on their official website, www.215stop.com, on March 5, 2024. On Thursday, March 7, 2024, an area law enforcement officer was approached by a concerned citizen who was aware of the CrimeStoppers lookout for McClure. Investigators reached out to CrimeStoppers staff for additional details, and staff were able to confirm the active warrants on McClure. Thanks to the brave citizen’s information and a great partnership between CrimeStoppers and law enforcement, McClure was located a short time later. McClure was taken into custody by law enforcement on two felony charges.
McClure is no longer wanted by law enforcement.

The Alabama Department of Corrections originally requested public assistance on October 24, 2023, in locating, fugitive, Ricky Lavon Lay, 39.
Lay was serving a 16-year prison sentence for burglary at the Mobile Community Based Facility and Community Work Center located at 2423 North Beltline Highway in Mobile, AL. Lay originally escaped from the Steiner Shipyard where he was assigned to work. Lay left the job site without approval on Tuesday, October 24, 2023, at approximately 3:30 pm.
Investigators say Lay was located by law enforcement on Thursday, February 22, 2024, in Ocean Springs, Mississippi. Lay was taken into custody and extradited back to Alabama and placed into the custody of the Alabama Department of Corrections.

Lanett – Police Identify Murder Suspect Thanks to an Anonymous Tip

The Lanett Police Department notified Central Alabama CrimeStoppers and advised they have identified and charged a suspect in the November 13, 2023, murder of Delarick St. George.
On December 13, 2023, investigators requested public assistance and were seeking information about the November fatal shooting.
On Monday, November 13, 2023, at about 4:37 p.m., police responded to the 2300 block of 20th Avenue Southwest, Lanett, Alabama, regarding an unresponsive male lying on the ground. Upon arrival, units located an adult male who sustained a life-threatening gunshot wound. The victim was pronounced deceased by medics on the scene. The victim was identified as Delarick St. George, 36, of Lanett.
Investigators say due to an anonymous tip received through CrimeStoppers the suspect was identified and charged. Jeterrio Booker was identified as the suspect and taken into custody by the United States Marshals Gulf Coast Task Force and the Lanett Police Department on January 25, 2024.
CrimeStoppers would like to give recognition to the brave tipster who came forward while remaining anonymous and providing information that was crucial to the investigation. Without this tipster coming forward, the case would not have been solved promptly.

Montgomery - Two Arrested in Missing Person Investigation
The Montgomery Police Department was originally requesting public assistance while searching for missing juvenile, Michael Cole Jr., 16.
Cole Jr. was last seen leaving the area of Ridgecrest, in the evening hours on Thursday, January 25, 2024, in Montgomery, Alabama.
Investigators say on January 29, 2024, at about 10:50 p.m. in the 6500 block of Selma Highway, Cole Jr. was found. Cole Jr. was pronounced deceased on the scene. Investigators say Cole Jr. died of an apparent gunshot wound.
Investigators say Nicholas Treyvon King-Sheppard, 18, and Nedvin Maynard Jones, Jr., 18, both of Montgomery, have been identified as suspects and charged with felony murder. Both subjects are being held without bail at the Montgomery County Detention Facility.

The Union Springs Police Department notified Central Alabama CrimeStoppers and advise they have located and taken fugitive Jessie Haynes III, 23, into custody.
Haynes was orignally wanted for attempted murder and multiple violent felony charges as a result of a January 10, 2024, shooting that occurred in the 400 block of Conecuh Avenue East in Union Springs, Alabama.
Investigators say Haynes was located by law enforcement on January 16, 2024. Haynes was taken into custody for attempted murder and three additional felony charges.

Tallassee Police Investigators released a photo of an unknown suspect wanted for a business robbery that occurred on January 2, 2024, at about 1:30 pm at Marathon Gas Station located at 511 Jordan Avenue, Tallassee, Alabama. Investigators say the pictured suspect, identified as a black male, entered the business, produced an unknown type of handgun, and demanded currency. Investigators say the suspect took an assortment of US currency and left the business in an unknown direction of travel.
Investigators notified Central Alabama CrimeStoppers and advised they had identified the suspect as Zyquarius Collins, 19. Collins was arrested on January 5, 2024, and charged with robbery 1st degree, where he is being held on a $6,000.00 bond at the Elmore County Detention Facility.

The Montgomery Police Department continues to investigate multiple burglaries and seeks the public’s help in identifying the remaining suspects. Police say one suspect has been identified and warrants have been signed.
Between October 6, 2023, and October 9, 2023, police say several males were seen on video surveillance stealing multiple items from a business located in the 4000 block of Strathmore Drive, Montgomery, AL.
On December 29, 2023, investigators released photos of unknown subjects wanted for burglary. The suspects entered the business and were seen stealing several items on video surveillance footage. The suspects left the business in an unknown direction of travel.
Investigators say thanks to an anonymous tip from Central Alabama CrimeStoppers, one pictured suspect was identified. The suspect was identified as Shareef Merritt. Investigators say Merritt was charged with two counts of burglary 3rd degree. The warrants against Merritt are still active, and police are currently asking anyone who knows the whereabouts of Merritt to immediately notify CrimeStoppers.

Millbrook Police Identify Suspect in Christmas Eve Fraudulent use of a Debit Card Investigation
The Millbrook Police Department notified Central Alabama CrimeStoppers and advised they have identified and arrested a suspect wanted for fraudulent use of a debit card investigation.
Investigators originally requested public assistance on January 1, 2024, and were seeking the public’s help in identifying the suspect.
On Christmas Eve, Sunday, December 24, 2023, police responded to Hill Liquor and Wine located at 107 Kelley Boulevard, Millbrook, Alabama, in reference to a fraudulent use of a debit card investigation. Upon arrival, police determined the victim used their debit card to make a small purchase, the victim accidentally left the debit card in the card reader. The victim left the business when an unidentified female was behind the victim, observed that the card was left in the machine and took the victim’s card to make a transaction. Once the card was approved, the suspect made another large purchase using the same card. The suspect then traveled to another area business and used the card to make additional purchases.
Police say Stevette Lewis was identified as the suspect. Warrants were signed, and the suspect turned herself over to the police a short time later.
Millbrook Police Investigators say thanks to an anonymous tip, the suspect was identified. Investigators credit this tip with solving the case.

Montgomery Police Identify Suspects Involved in Felony Retail Theft Investigation

The Montgomery Police Department notified Central Alabama CrimeStoppers and advised they had identified both suspects involved in a November felony retail theft investigation.
On December 29, 2023, investigators requested public assistance in identifying two felony retail theft suspects. Investigators released photographs of the two wanted suspects. The original theft occurred November 17, 2023, in the 7000 block of Eastchase Parkway.
The lookout for the wanted females received an overwhelming response on social media and garnered local attention thanks to support from our area media outlets. The community, the media, and law enforcement truly came together and thanks to those efforts, both suspects have been identified.
Investigators notified Central Alabama CrimeStoppers on Thursday, January 4, 2024, and advised both suspects involved in the investigation have been identified. Charity Pruitt and April Collons were identified as suspects. Investigators say Pruitt turned herself in after being made aware of the investigation. Collons was identified thanks to an anonymous tip and warrants were signed. Collons was made aware of the warrants and turned herself over to law enforcement a short time later. Both suspects were charged with theft of property 3rd degree.

Prattville Police Identify Driver Involved in Pedestrian Hit & Run Investigation

The Prattville Police Department requested assistance on December 8, 2023, seeking information regarding a pedestrian being struck by a vehicle. Investigators notified Central Alabama CrimeStoppers on Monday, December 11, 2023, and advised they located the vehicle and identified the driver.
On December 8, 2023, around 1:00 am, Prattville Police were dispatched to the 1600 block of East Main Street about a pedestrian being struck by a vehicle. Investigators say the victim was crossing East Main Street, in the crosswalk, when he was struck by a vehicle. The vehicle fled the scene. The victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported by Paramedics to a local area hospital.
Investigators would like to thank the media and especially the public for creating awareness in this ongoing investigation. The case received a tremendous amount of public awareness. Thanks to such a great response, the driver of the suspect vehicle was made aware of the CrimeStoppers lookout and turned himself over to law enforcement. The vehicle involved was also located by law enforcement. The investigation is ongoing and charges are currently pending.

The United States Marshals Gulf Coast Regional Task Force requested public assistance and were seeking Palmer’s whereabouts on December 1, 2023. Palmer was originally wanted for assault 2nd by the Montgomery Police Department and a probation violation.
Investigators say Palmer was taken into custody by law enforcement on December 7, 2023, and was located in Montgomery, Alabama.
Investigators said Palmer was known to be a violent person, and advised caution to be used if Palmer was seen. Investigators were acting swiftly to locate Palmer and credit an anonymous tip provided by CrimeStoppers with information that was instrumental in locating Palmer.

On November 16, 2023, the Opp Police Department was dispatched to Morning Star Drive to a male subject that had been shot several times. During the investigation the Opp Police Department developed Jakellus Arnez Lane as a suspect, along with two other suspects.

On Monday, November 20, 2023, the Alabama Department of Corrections requested assistance locating escapee, Tom Seabers Pope. Investigators say Pope was last accounted for at about 6:40 p.m. on Sunday, November 19, 2023, at the Alex City Detention Facility. Later in the evening, Pope was unaccounted for and found to be an escapee at about 9:18 p.m.
Investigators say, Pope was located Monday November 20, 2023, by the United States Marshals Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force. Pope was safely placed into custody.
Pope was originally serving an 18-month sentence for unlawful breaking and entering into a vehicle.

Investigators say McGuire Jr. was located by law enforcement on November 16, 2023, in Sylacauga, Alabama, and was taken into custody for a SORNA violation, and transported to the Talladega County Jail.
McGuire Jr. is no longer wanted by law enforcement.

On October 31, 2023, the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office advised they responded to the 1700 block of Six Foot Road in reference to possible criminal activity, a search warrant was obtained by law enforcement, which later led to them locating heroin, methamphetamine, and a stolen motorcycle.
After further investigation, Dennis Dewberry and Jacob Watts were charged with felony charges. Investigators say a female was also taken into custody for a misdemeanor charge of unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

Court documents indicated that Timmons stole roofing shingles that exceeded $2,500.00 in value and lumber that exceeded $2,500.00 in value from two separate locations. Court documents also indicated that Timmons broke into a vehicle in the same area and caused property damage to multiple businesses.
Investigators notified CrimeStoppers and advised Timmons was located and taken into custody. Timmons is no longer wanted by law enforcement.

McTier had an active warrant for Murder (Reckless) by the Montgomery Police Department. McTier was identified as an additional suspect in the July 22nd shooting death of a 16-year-old juvenile male, of Montgomery.
Investigators notified CrimeStoppers on Monday, October 16, 2023, and advised McTier was located and taken into custody on October 11, 2023, by the United States Marshals Gulf Coast Regional Task Force Huntsville and placed in the Montgomery County Detention Facility under no bond.
OPELIKA – MISSING PERSON CASE NOW A HOMICIDE INVESTIGATION – TWO IN CUSTODY
On October 10, 2023, the Opelika Police Department requested public assistance in searching for a missing man, Reggie Cornelius Stokes, 28. Investigators notified CrimeStoppers and advised the case is now a homicide investigation and two suspects were in police custody.
Investigators say Stokes was last seen by his family on September 22, 2023, and was not active on social media since September 23, 2023.
During the initial investigation into the disappearance of Reggie Cornelius Stokes, detectives identified Matthew James Dillon, 40, and Francis Harland Hamblin, 40, as possible suspects. Both suspects recently relocated to the Opelika area. Dillon is originally from Ohio and Hamblin is from New York.
On October 11, 2023, Opelika Police Detectives, along with members of Alpha Team K9 Search & Rescue, located human remains in a wooded area near the 100 Block of Bay Court. After the remains were located, and in consultation with the Lee County District Attorney’s Office, the suspects were arrested. Dillon and Hamblin have both been charged with murder.

On October 5, 2023, Prattville Police Investigators released a photo of an unknown suspect who entered a rental storage facility located in the 700 block of Shelia Boulevard on August 18, 2023, cut the lock on a storage unit, and took property.
Investigators say the suspect stole two kayaks, a cart, and various hunting equipment. The items were valued at $4,070.00.
Investigators say the press release and lookout provided by CrimeStoppers received a tremendous public response that quickly led to the identification and arrest of the suspect. Investigators say the suspect was identified as Chad Nesbit. Nesbit was charged with theft of property 1st degree and taken into custody.

Investigators say Marks was located by Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office at around 11:10 a.m. in Baldwin County. Marks is currently in police custody and is no longer wanted by law enforcement.

Investigators say Seals was located and placed into custody on September 28, 2023, within 24 hours after being featured on CrimeStoppers. Seals is no longer wanted by the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.

On 09/23/2023, at approximately 10:22 p.m., Elmore County Deputy G. Mann received a call from an individual who stated he'd received notification from security cameras on his property showing someone trespassing. Deputy Mann arrived on the scene to find Inmate Smallwood in the kitchen of the complainant’s residence located in the 2600 block of Rigsby Road in Tallassee, AL. Smallwood was detained at that time and taken to Elmore County Jail. Daniel Lee Smallwood is being charged with Escape and two additional charges of Burglary and Theft. No other details were released.
Daniel Lee Smallwood was serving a 4-year 5-month prison sentence for Burglary at the Elba Community Based Facility and Community Work Center located at 1620 Boswell Street, Elba, AL 36323. On September 8, 2023, at approximately 1:00 AM it was determined that inmate Daniel Lee Smallwood was unaccounted for at his place of employment.

The Tallassee Police Department originally contacted Central Alabama CrimeStoppers and requested public assistance on Friday, September 22, 2023, with locating fugitive, Robdarius Ronkevious Smith, 31, of Tuskegee.
Smith was wanted for the September 20, 2023, fatal shooting that occurred in the 100 block of Washington Street in Tallassee, AL.
Investigators thank the media and the public for rapidly spreading public awareness regarding Smith’s whereabouts. Thanks to this tremendous amount of public awareness, Smith was made well aware that he was wanted by law enforcement. Smith turned himself over to law enforcement in Butler County shortly after CrimeStoppers original press release.
Smith’s apprehension marks the 17th fugitive wanted for a murder that was located after being featured by Central Alabama CrimeStoppers this year.

The Covington County Sheriff’s Office requested public assistance on Wednesday, September 20, 2023, and was searching for the whereabouts of fugitive, Brandon Brewster, 26. Brewster was wanted for multiple outstanding felony charges and outstanding warrants from three law enforcement agencies.
Investigators say Brewster was arrested on Wednesday evening, September 21, 2023, in New Brockton, AL.
Central Alabama CrimeStoppers would like to recognize the outstanding work of law enforcement with the apprehension of Brewster. Covington County Sheriff’s Office, Coffee County Sheriff's Office Geneva County Sheriff's Office along with the Alabama Department of Corrections assisted with the arrest. Court documents indicated that Barnett was unlawfully in possession of a firearm after being convicted of felony and criminal charges that would prevent him from possessing a firearm.
CrimeStoppers was notified on September 19, 2023, that Barnett had been arrested and was no longer wanted. Barnett was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Detention Facility

The Alabama Department of Corrections has officially notified CrimeStoppers of the capture of escaped inmate Pershon O’Neal Pettway.
On September 6, 2023 at around 3:00 pm, the Alabama Department of Corrections Law Enforcement Services Division was made aware of Pershon Pettway driving a stolen vehicle in Troy, AL. Members of the Troy Police Department initiated a traffic stop but Pettway drove off and a short vehicle pursuit was started. Pettway abandoned the stolen vehicle during the pursuit and ran in the woods. He was eventually captured at the intersection of Ray Avenue and Franklin Drive in Troy, AL. Pershon Pettway was taken into custody and is being transported to the Talladega County Jail. Additional criminal charges may be pending. No other details were released at this time.
Pershon O’Neal Pettway was serving a 2-year prison sentence for Receiving Stolen Property at the Childersburg Community Based Facility and Community Work Center located at 13501 Plant Road, Alpine, AL 35014. On September 5, 2023, at approximately 3:32 AM an institutional bed roster was conducted of the facility. At approximately 4:20 AM the count did not clear. It was determined that inmate Pershon Pettway was not present and was unaccounted for.

The Montgomery Police Department notified Central Alabama CrimeStoppers and advised they made an arrest in the August 25, 2023, murder of a 15-year-old. Police continue to seek the public’s help with identifying the remaining suspect.
On Friday, August 25, 2023, at about 10:10 p.m., police and fire medics responded to a shooting that occurred in the 4800 block of Park Towne Way, Montgomery, Alabama. Upon arrival, units located a 15-year-old juvenile male who sustained a life-threatening gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment. The victim succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased. Due to the juvenile’s age, his identity has not been released at this time.
On Tuesday, September 5, 2023, investigators requested assistance from CrimeStoppers and released a photo of two unknown suspects being sought for their involvement in the shooting. Investigators say one of the suspects was quickly identified shortly after CrimeStoppers press release regarding the investigation was released to the media and the public. Police say one suspect in the photo is still at large and has not been identified at this time and police are asking for the public’s assistance with the identification of the remaining suspect.
Investigators say Saquavion Denard, 19, of Montgomery, was identified as one of the suspects and was taken into police custody on September 5, 2023, and charged with Capital Murder and two counts of Robbery 1st Degree. Denard was transported to the Montgomery County Detention Facility where he is being held on no bond.

Law enforcement located Kelley on September 3, 2023, in Montgomery, Alabama, and placed him into custody. Kelley was transported to the Montgomery County Detention Facility and charged with murder and multiple other criminal charges. Kelley is no longer wanted by law enforcement.
Investigators say due to a massive amount of public awareness, an anonymous caller contacted law enforcement and provided the exact whereabouts of Kelley. CrimeStoppers applauds this brave citizen for providing information that ultimately led to Kelley’s apprehension.

On Friday, August 25, 2023, at about 7:55 p.m., police and fire medics responded to a fatal shooting that occurred in the 4200 block of Sussex Drive, Montgomery, Alabama. The victim was pronounced deceased on the scene and was identified as Rickey Daniel, 66.
On Tuesday, August 30, 2023, investigators released a photo of an unknown black female originally being sought for questioning in the investigation and were seeking public assistance from CrimeStoppers, and a lookout and press release for the person of interest was provided to the media and the public.
Investigators say the lookout received a tremendous public response, and the person of interest turned herself over to law enforcement just a few hours after the original CrimeStoppers lookout was released to the public and the media. Montgomery Police took Jayln Lakevion Greene into custody and identified her as the offender, Greene was charged with Capital Murder and was transported to the Montgomery County Detention Facility, where she is being held on no bond.
Central Alabama CrimeStoppers thanks the public and the media for helping share the original lookout in a timely manner, which ultimately led to the offender's apprehension. This marks the 13th homicide suspect to be identified after being featured on Central Alabama CrimeStoppers this year. On December 12, 2022, the Jacksonville Police Department originally requested assistance locating a person of interest, Anthony Jamichael Delaney. Delaney was originally wanted for questioning regarding multiple vehicle burglary investigations where multiple firearms were stolen. Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office also had active warrants for Delaney for a probation violation for receiving stolen property and resisting arrest.
On Monday, August 28, 2023, Central Alabama CrimeStoppers received an anonymous tip that provided Delaney’s current whereabouts. Calhoun County’s Warrant Team responded rapidly to Delaney’s location and took the suspect into custody within minutes of receiving the tip.

The Bullock County Sheriff’s Office notified Central Alabama CrimeStoppers and advised they have identified and arrested the suspect involved in an August 7, 2023, home invasion.
Investigators requested public assistance on August 8, 2023, from CrimeStoppers with identifying the suspect responsible for a home invasion. Investigators say they responded to a home invasion of an elderly female that reportedly occurred around 2:00 p.m. on Monday, August 7, 2023, at a residence located in the 2300 block of County Road 14, located in Bullock County, Alabama. Investigators say the unknown suspect knocked on the victim’s door asking for water. During the conversation, the suspect forcefully entered the victim’s residence without her permission. It was during this time the suspect stole the victim’s purse containing checks, cash, and a debit card and fled the scene in a small vehicle.
Investigators surveyed the area and were able to obtain surveillance video footage of what appeared to be a male seen in the area shortly before the original offense occurred. The pictured subject matched the description of the suspect involved in the home invasion. The subject’s vehicle also matched the description of the suspect’s vehicle.
Investigators say the lookout received a tremendous public response, which was also seen by many law enforcement partners. Investigators received information from another law enforcement agency that positively identified the suspect as Gray Wright.
Wright was located by law enforcement in Montgomery, Alabama. Wright was taken into custody on August 10, 2023, and transported to Bullock County. Wright was charged with robbery 2nd degree, assault 1st degree, and theft of property 3rd degree.
CrimeStoppers would like to acknowledge the swift action by investigators while going above and beyond to identify the suspect in this case. Investigators worked tirelessly while demonstrating unity with area law enforcement agencies to ensure Wright was apprehended and placed behind bars.

Union Springs - Suspect Wanted for August 12th Homicide Located
The Union Springs Police Department requested public assistance from Central Alabama CrimeStoppers and were seeking the whereabouts of fugitive, Joe Louis Hatcher.
Hatcher was wanted in connection with a homicide that occurred on Saturday, August 12, 2023, at around 1:25 a.m. in the 100 block of Locke Avenue. Investigators say the victim sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased. The victim was identified as Jeffery Monday, 36.
Investigators notified CrimeStoppers on August 15, 2023, and advised Hatcher turned himself over to law enforcement. Investigators credit the public awareness of the case and thank the media for helping get the word out.

Kent Woods was serving a 10-year prison sentence for Robbery 1st degree at the Mobile Community Based Facility and Community Work Center located at 2423 N. Beltline Highway in Prichard, Alabama. On July 29, 2023, inmate Kent Woods was found to be missing during an 11:00 A.M., institutional count.
Investigators say Woods was located by law enforcement on August 10, 2023, in Mobile, AL.
Woods was located and taken into police custody. Woods is no longer wanted by law enforcement.

On Tuesday, August 1, 2023, the United States Marshals Gulf Coast Regional Task Force requested public assistance in locating fugitive, Jermaine Cortex Walker, 39. Walker was originally wanted for Attempted Murder by the Montgomery Police Department.
Investigators were acting swiftly to locate Walker to ensure he was located in a timely manner. Investigators credit an anonymous CrimeStoppers tip with helping locate Walker. Investigators say without the anonymous tipster’s information, Walker would not have been located as quickly.
Investigators say Walker was taken into police custody on Friday, August 4, 2023, after a short vehicle pursuit. The United States Marshal Service was assisted by the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, The Montgomery Police Department, and the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency Aviation Unit.

Investigators say Decatur is a registered sex offender and official court documents indicate he has been convicted of three sexual-related offenses.
The United States Marshals assisted with the apprehension of Decatur. Investigators credit an anonymous tip received through CrimeStoppers that led to the exact whereabouts of Decatur. Investigators say the tipster’s information was crucial in the investigation and ultimately led to the apprehension of Decatur.

The Prattville Police Department requested assistance from CrimeStoppers on July 20, 2023, with identifying a suspect involved in a felony theft that occurred, Tuesday, June 6, 2023, during regular business hours at a Kohl’s located at 1460 Cotton Exchange, Prattville, AL.
Investigators say the pictured suspect used the store’s emergency exit to leave the business with $541.99 worth of merchandise that was not paid for. The suspect left the area in an unknown direction of travel.
Investigators advised the case received a great public response after being shown on CrimeStoppers, and as a result, they received information that helped them identify the suspect. Police are no longer seeking public assistance in this investigation. There are no other details available for release at this time.

The Talladega County Sheriff’s Office notified Central Alabama CrimeStoppers and advised they have identified the suspect involved in a recent business robbery that occurred in Munford, Alabama.
Investigators released a photo of an unknown subject wanted for a business robbery on Tuesday, July 25, 2023. The lookout was placed on social media and sent out to multiple area media outlets, on Tuesday, July 25, 2023, at Munford Marathon, located in Munford, Alabama. Investigators say the suspect produced an unknown type of handgun, demanded currency, and fled the scene in a dark-colored SUV. The suspect was wanted for robbery 1st degree, a Class B felony.
Investigators say within an hour, an anonymous tipster provided information to Crime Stoppers identifying the suspect as Rayford Craig Phillips, 43, from Selma, Alabama.
Investigators worked with members of the Talladega County Drug and Violent Crimes Task Force, Munford Police Department, Lincoln Police Department, and Anniston Police Department in locating Rayford Craig Phillips where he was taken into custody at approximately 8:00 P.M. in Anniston, Alabama. Rayford Craig Phillips was arrested for Robbery First Degree and transported to the Talladega County Jail where he is being held with no bond pending an initial appearance.

The Alabama Department of Corrections has officially notified CrimeStoppers of the re-capture of escaped inmate Joseph Ray Perkins.
Alabama Department of Corrections report that Joseph Ray Perkins was located on Thursday, July 20, 2023, at 11:55 a.m. at Shirley Concrete Plant located in the 5100 block of Watermelon Road in Northport, Alabama. He was tracked by LESD K9 in a stolen truck which he abandoned at the concrete factory.
Joseph Ray Perkins was transported to the Marion County Detention Facility where he will wait to be transported to Hamilton CBF/CWC and then to the Limestone Correctional Facility. He was also charged with Theft of Property 1st degree for the theft of a truck.
Perkins was taken into custody by members of the U.S. Marshall Fugitive Task Force, Northport Police Department, Tuscaloosa County Sheriff’s Office, and LESD Agents/K9.
No injuries were reported. No other details were released.

Davis was identified as a suspect in a murder that occurred on Thursday, December 29, 2022, in Alexander City, Alabama.
The task force has actively been seeking Davis since January of 2023. CrimeStoppers has received a number of tips regarding this fugitive case, and investigators credit a recent CrimeStoppers tip provided by an anonymous tipster with helping provide the whereabouts of Davis. Investigators say Davis would not have been located without the anonymous tipster’s vital information. Dixon was last seen leaving her residence located in the 3000 block of Fountain Lane on Friday, June 30, 2023, in Montgomery, Alabama.
Montgomery investigators notified CrimeStoppers on July 18, 2023, and advised Dixon was located and found to be safe. There are no other details available for release at this time.

Investigators with Covington County Sheriff’s Office notified Central Alabama CrimeStoppers on Thursday, July 6, 2023, and advised they have located and arrested a fugitive wanted for multiple felony charges out of Florida.
Central Alabama CrimeStoppers received an anonymous tip providing information regarding wanted fugitive, Jared David Nichols. Investigators say the tip was instrumental in locating Nichols and led law enforcement to his exact location, allowing them to place him into custody.
On July 6, 2023, Nichols was transported to Covington County Detention Facility on unrelated outstanding warrants with their agency. A hold for Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office of Florida was placed on Nichols for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, possession of a controlled substance, and fraud.
Central Alabama CrimeStoppers reached out to Emerald Coast CrimeStoppers in Florida to notify them of the felony apprehension. Emerald Coast CrimeStoppers had an active reward out for Nichols. Emerald Coast CrimeStoppers will be paying a cash reward to the tipster.

The tipster provided crucial information that was provided to law enforcement. Investigators say as a result of this information, a suspect was identified and charged in this ongoing investigation.
The Etowah County Drug Enforcement Unit arrested James, Reio, 58, of Gadsden, Alabama. Reio was charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of saliva, resisting arrest, and attempting to elude a police officer. Reio was placed in the Etowah County Detention Facility and held on a bond.

On Saturday, June 24, 2023, the Autauga County Sheriff's Office requested the public’s help in locating Jonathan Lee Smith, 35, of Marbury, AL. Smith was originally wanted for Assault 1st Degree (Attempted Murder).
On Friday night, June 23, 2023, Johnathan Lee Smith entered a home in the 700 block of County Road 21 North and used a hammer to strike his victim multiple times in the head, causing catastrophic injuries. The victim was transported to an area hospital in critical condition.
After a massive amount of media attention, Autauga County Investigators say Jonathan Lee Smith turned himself over to law enforcement around 11:15 a.m. on Monday, June 26, 2023. Smith was charged with attempted murder and placed in the Autauga County Metro Detention Facility. Smith is no longer wanted by law enforcement.
Investigators would like to thank the media and the public for helping get the word out about Smith. A rapid response of public awareness ultimately led to Smith’s apprehension.

The Montgomery Police Department notified Central Alabama CrimeStoppers and advised they have located a suspect wanted for his involvement in a June 18, 2023, early morning double shooting.
Investigators say police responded to a local Montgomery hospital around 1 a.m. on Sunday, June 18, 2023, in reference to two victims who sustained gunshot wounds. Officers found an adult male with non-life-threatening injuries. There was also a juvenile male victim with life-threatening injuries from a gunshot wound. The shooting occurred in the 3700 block of Norman Bridge Road.
Investigators requested public assistance locating Jason Williams, 18. Williams was wanted for his involvement in the shooting. Williams turned himself over to law enforcement. Williams was charged with assault 1st degree and attempting to commit murder and placed in the Montgomery County Detention Facility where he is being held on a $90,000.00 bond.

On June 6, 2023, Prattville Police Investigators contacted CrimeStoppers and requested public assistance in identifying a wanted suspect. Investigators released a photo of an unknown suspect wanted for a felony theft investigation. Investigators say the offense occurred, Saturday, May 27, 2023, at Walmart, 1903 Cobbs Ford Road, Prattville, AL.
Investigators say the pictured suspect entered the business, loaded a comforter set, (2) large electric scooters, and (3) small electric scooters into his shopping cart. After walking around the store, the suspect goes into the garden center area, exiting the store through the fire exit, where an unknown individual in a black Honda Accord (unknown tag number) was waiting on him. The suspect loaded the merchandise into the vehicle and left the scene without purchasing or attempting to purchase the items. The total of the merchandise stolen from the business was valued at $1,444.00.
Investigators credit an anonymous tip provided through CrimeStoppers with helping to identify the suspect. Investigators say without this information, they would not have been able to solve this case as quickly.
The suspect was identified as Patrick Watts and is wanted for theft of property 3rd degree, which is a Class D felony.

On June 21, 2023, the Opelika Police Department contacted CrimeStoppers and requested assistance identifying the suspects involved in a June 15, 2023, retail theft.
Opelika Police Investigators released a photo of two unknown subjects wanted for a retail felony theft investigation. The offense occurred, Thursday, June 15, 2023, at Ulta located at 2690 Enterprise Drive, Opelika, Alabama. Investigators say the pictured suspects stole $1,126 worth of merchandise and left the business without paying. The suspects left the scene in a red Nissan Altima in an unknown direction of travel.
Investigators say they have identified both suspects in this investigation. No other details are available for release at this time.
The suspects were wanted for theft of property 3rd degree, a Class D felony.

Goin was originally wanted for felony domestic violence assault 3rd degree with the Talladega County Sheriff’s Office.
Talladega County investigators requested public assistance from CrimeStoppers on May 22, 2023. A lookout for Goin was provided by CrimeStoppers to the media and on social media. The fugitive lookout received a tremendous public response being shared across multiple social media outlets.
Investigators notified CrimeStoppers on June 21, 2023, and advised that Goin was taken into custody by St. Clair County on unrelated charges. Goin will be transported to the Talladega County Jail after he is released from St. Clair County.

Union Springs Police Investigators released a photo of an unknown subject wanted for questioning for an ongoing Homicide Investigation. The offense occurred, Thursday, August 18, 2022, at about 5:47 p.m. in the 600 block of Bernard Street. Upon arrival, police located an adult male suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased on the scene. A second victim, suffering from a gunshot wound was later located at a local hospital where he was being treated for his injuries. Police say one suspect was taken into police custody and one suspect was still at large.
Investigators say they have located Rashaad Williams and are no longer seeking his whereabouts. Williams was arrested by law enforcement on unrelated multiple felony charges in Muskogee County, Georgia.

On May 31, 2023, Montgomery Police Investigators released a photo of an unknown female wanted for theft of property 1st degree and criminal possession of a forged instrument 1st degree. The offense occurred, on Friday, March 31, 2023, in the 2300 block of Taylor Road, Montgomery, Alabama. The suspect received cash that exceeded $2,500.00 in value, by means of fraud.
Investigators say as the result of multiple CrimeStoppers tips the suspect has been identified as Rhashema Shante Deramus Shackleford, 34, of Montgomery, AL.
After being identified, investigators signed an active warrant on Shakleford for criminal possession of a forged instrument 1st degree. Investigators say this is an active Federal investigation and the investigation is ongoing, additional charges are possible.
Investigators credit CrimeStoppers, the media, and most importantly the public with helping get the word out on this investigation, which ultimately led to identifying Shakleford. Shackleford was well aware of the social media and news media attention and quickly turned herself over to law enforcement on Thursday, June 15, 2023, after her active warrants were made public.

Investigators requested assistance from the public on June 8, 2023, when they asked CrimeStoppers for assistance in locating fugitive, Clifford Mosley. Mosley was wanted for failure to register as an adult sex offender with the Talladega County Sheriff’s Office.
Investigators were acting swiftly to locate Mosley and would like to thank the media and public for helping spread the word seeking Mosley’s whereabouts. As a result of this successful campaign of awareness, Mosley turned himself over to law enforcement.

Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office requested public assistance locating Newton on April 14, 2022.
Newton was wanted for Possession of a Forged Instrument 3rd Degree, Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Court documents indicate Newton allegedly forged a check that was made payable to him and had in his possession a pipe used for drug use and methamphetamine.
Newton was apprehended by law enforcement on June 8, 2023. CrimeStoppers was notified by Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office that Newton was in custody on the same date.

On Monday, May 29, 2023, at about 3:15 a.m., Montgomery Police and Fire Medics responded to a local hospital in reference to a shooting victim arriving by personal vehicle. Rondarius McQueen, 22, of Montgomery, sustained a life-threatening gunshot wound. McQueen was pronounced deceased at 3:47 am. It was determined that the offense occurred in the 100 block of Folmar Parkway.
On Thursday, June 1, 2023, investigators notified CrimeStoppers and advised that a suspect, Juqwarn Hartwell, was identified and arrested in this homicide investigation.

Following the senseless, July 12, 2022, fatal shooting of David Werking Jr., the Montgomery Police Department requested assistance from CrimeStoppers and was seeking information from the public in the ongoing homicide investigation.
Investigators said, Tuesday, July 12, 2022, at about 12:16 a.m., police responded to the Atlanta Highway and Perry Hill Road in reference to a subject shot. Upon arrival, units located an adult male who sustained a life-threatening gunshot wound. The victim was pronounced deceased on the scene. The victim was identified as David Werking, 19.
Christmas 2022 was the victim’s family’s first Christmas without their beloved family member. The Werking family was seeking answers during this time and was waiting for someone to come forward with information.
Investigators notified CrimeStoppers and advised that a suspect, Travontaye Rudolph, 27, was identified and arrested in this ongoing homicide investigation. Investigators credit an anonymous tipster with providing information that led investigators to the identification of the suspect. Investigators say it was this anonymous tipster’s information that helped identify the suspect.
Travontave Rudolph was arrested on May 24, 2023, and placed in the Montgomery County Detention Facility without bond for Capital Murder.

On Sunday, May 13, 2023, at about 5:23 p.m. police responded to the 400 block of Finley Avenue in reference to shots fired in the area. Upon arrival, units located an adult female who sustained a life-threatening gunshot wound. The victim was pronounced deceased on the scene. The victim was identified as Deontae Vickers, 34, of Montgomery.
Investigators requested assistance from CrimeStoppers on May 15, 2023, and a $1,000.00 cash reward was offered for information regarding the investigation.
CrimeStoppers received a number of tips, and the original press release received a heavy amount of engagement from the media and our local community. As a result of this overwhelming response, investigators say a tipster provided information that identified the suspect. The tipster’s information was crucial in the investigation. As a result of this anonymous tipster’s information, the suspect was identified and charged.
Investigators say Nyeiasha Lykes, 23, of Montgomery, was identified as the suspect and charged with murder on May 17, 2023, and placed into police custody. Lykes is currently being held at Montgomery County Detention Facility under no bond.

The Alabama Department of Corrections requested public assistance in locating Leon Michael Jolly on Wednesday, May 24, 2023. Jolly was serving a 30-year prison sentence for Murder at the Childersburg Community Based Facility and Community Work Center located at 13501 Plant Road, Childersburg, Alabama. On May 24, 2023, at approximately 2:33 p.m., Jolly was reported to have walked away from his assigned municipal squad.
Alabama Department of Corrections quickly located Jolly shortly after his escape. Investigators credit Pell City Police Department and St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office for their swift response in locating Jolly.

On May 9, 2023, investigators released a photo of unknown subjects involved in a felony theft of property investigation. Investigators were requesting the public’s assistance with the identification of the suspects involved.
Investigators say on Wednesday, May 3, 2023, the driver of the pictured black truck and an additional suspect stole property from the 4100 block of Troy Highway.
Investigators say they have identified the suspects and are no longer seeking additional information. There are no other details available for release at this time.

On May 1, 2023, Prattville Police Investigators released a photo of two suspects wanted for a felony theft investigation. Investigators said the offense occurred, Saturday, April 15, 2023, at Home Depot, 2710 Legends Parkway, Prattville, AL. The pictured suspects, described as two black males, entered the business, stole $1,773.97, in property, and left the scene.
The suspects were captured on video surveillance cameras, one suspect was seen wearing an orange t-shirt and blue jeans, and the other suspect was seen wearing a black baseball cap, black t-shirt, and dark worn-out jeans.
Investigators say the suspect seen wearing a black baseball cap, black t-shirt, and dark worn-out jeans has been identified by law enforcement and felony charges have been signed against the suspect for theft of property 2nd degree, which is a Class C felony.
Investigators continue to seek the identity of the remaining suspect seen wearing an orange shirt. CrimeStoppers will pay cash for information that identifies the remaining suspect and leads to criminal charges.

On Friday, May 5, 2023, the Alabama Department of Corrections requested the public’s assistance in locating, fugitive, Jonathon Lamar Bundy, 30, who was wanted for escape. Bundy was currently serving a 22-year sentence for theft of property 1st degree.
On Friday, May 5, 2022, at approximately 5:20 a.m., Bundy escaped the Elba Correctional Facility.
Investigators say Bundy was located by law enforcement in Brundidge, Alabama in the afternoon hours on Friday, May 5, 2023. Bundy is no longer wanted by law enforcement.

Gadsden Police Identify Suspect Involved in Vandalism at Noccalula Falls Park as the Result of an Anonymous Tip

The Gadsden Police Department notified Central Alabama CrimeStoppers and advised a suspect has been identified in the ongoing vandalism of Noccalula Falls Park investigation.
On Monday, April 24, 2023, Gadsden Police Department asked for assistance with an ongoing vandalism investigation. Investigators said, between Saturday, April 15, 2023, and Saturday, April 22, 2023, graffiti was spray painted in portions of Noccalula Falls Park. Investigators say multiple drawings and writing were located throughout the park.
Investigators say they received a number of CrimeStoppers tips, and as a result, one of those tips provided by an anonymous tipster led investigators to the identification of the suspect. The suspect’s name is not being released due to the fact that the offender is a juvenile. A petition has been signed by investigators with the juvenile court system. There are no other details available for release at this time.
The City of Gadsden is taking a stand against vandalism and is providing a cash reward along with Central Alabama CrimeStoppers who will also provide a cash reward to the anonymous tipster. Investigators located Bruce on Friday, April 28, 2023, in Montgomery. Bruce was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery Police Department Criminal Investigation Division.

On Monday, April 17, 2023, members of the Montgomery Police Department Gang Investigations Unit, were in the 500 block of Eastdale Road South, when units observed, fugitive, Lakeisha Hawkins, 35, in the area. Hawkins was taken into custody for outstanding felony warrants.
Hawkins was taken into custody for outstanding warrants with the Montgomery Police Department, theft of property 1st degree with Autauga County Sheriff’s Office, and theft of property 3rd degree with Opelika Police Department.

On April 25, 2023, Prattville Police Investigators released a photo of four unknown subjects wanted for theft of property 2nd degree. On Saturday, April 15, 2023, at Shell, located at 2591 Cobbs Ford Road, Prattville, Alabama. Investigators say the pictured suspects, described as black males, entered the business, walked out, and one suspect quickly returned to the business. The suspect walked behind the checkout counter, took $1,600.00 in cash from the register, and ran out of the store. The suspects were seen entering a 2011, Honda, CRV, and left the scene in an unknown direction of travel.
Investigators say as a result of an anonymous tip provided through CrimeStoppers, two of the suspects have been identified. On March 27, 2023, the United States Marshals Service Gulf Coast Regional Task Force requested assistance locating fugitive, Jubry H. Bledson, 34. Bledson was wanted for a parole violation by the Alabama Bureau of Pardons and Paroles. Bledson was on parole for two counts of robbery 1st degree and assault 2nd degree.
Investigators located Bledson on Tuesday, April 18, 2023, in Montgomery. Bledson was taken into custody, charged, and transported to the Montgomery County Detention Facility, where he is being held on a $120,000.00 bond. Prior to Bledson’s apprehension, he attempted to flee from law enforcement which resulted in a vehicle pursuit, the suspect attempted to flee on foot and was apprehended by law enforcement a short time later.

Gipson was originally wanted for capital murder. The original offense occurred on Thursday, March 2, 2023, at about 12:45 a.m., when police and medics responded to the 4900 block of Hatton Avenue, Montgomery, AL, in reference to a subject shot. While on the scene, units located the victim, Fredrikis Heard, 26, who sustained a life-threatening gunshot wound. Heard was transported by ambulance to a local hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased.
Investigators say Gipson was identified as the suspect responsible for the fatal shooting of Fredrikis Heard and warrants for Capital Murder were signed.
Investigators credit the media releases by Central Alabama CrimeStoppers for creating public awareness of Gipson, which ultimately led him to turn himself in.

McCall, 32, was last seen on Wednesday, February 15, 2023, in the area of Hayneville, Alabama. Investigators requested assistance from Central Alabama CrimeStoppers, and a lookout for McCall was provided to the community on multiple digital media outlets. The press release was sent to all CrimeStoppers media partners, receiving a tremendous response from the public.
Investigators say McCall who suffers from a mental health condition was located in Noxapater, Mississippi by a good Samaritan.
On Tuesday, March 7, 2023, McCall was standing outside a hotel in Noxapater, Mississippi when a good Samaritan observed him and asked him if everything was ok. After taking McCall inside to get out of the sun, a conversation led the good Samaritan to believe McCall may have been separated from his family. The good Samaritan conducted an online search and located multiple lookouts indicating McCall was missing from Lowndes County. The good Samaritan assisted McCall with contacting CrimeStoppers. CrimeStoppers staff spoke with McCall and connected him with investigators who swiftly gathered information to locate the exact location of McCall. Lowndes County Investigators worked with law enforcement in Mississippi and were able to arrange transport back to Alabama. Lowndes County Investigators went above and beyond to ensure McCall was returned safely to his family. Investigators personally met Mississippi law enforcement at the state line. McCall was found to be safe and was reunited with his family a short time later.
This story is a heart-warming example of how through a multitude of partnerships, a missing person was reunited with his family. In February, Prattville Police investigators released a photo of an unknown subject wanted for theft of property 2nd degree and criminal possession of a forged instrument. The offense occurred, Wednesday, December 9, 2022, around 3:54 p.m., at Synovus Bank, located at 2005 Cobbs Ford Road, Prattville, Alabama. Investigators say the pictured suspect, described as a white male, entered the business, cashed a fraudulent check, and left the business in an unknown direction of travel.
Investigators say an anonymous tipster provided information to CrimeStoppers that was crucial in solving this case. The tip not only identified the suspect but also led to criminal charges.
The suspect is not in police custody at this time; however, warrants have been signed.

The Opelika Police Department notified Central Alabama CrimeStoppers and advised they have identified and charged a suspect involved in an April 2022, theft investigation.
On, May 20, 2022, Opelika Police Investigators released a photo of an unknown subject wanted for felony theft. The offense occurred, on April 8, 2022, at about 5:35 p.m. at Hobby Lobby, 2570 Enterprise Drive, Opelika, Alabama. Investigators say the pictured suspect entered the business and while roaming around the store, the suspect stole a wallet out of a shopping cart that contained a credit card. The suspect then used the stolen credit card to purchase several items at Best Buy, located at 2147 Tiger Town Parkway.
Investigators identified the suspect and have charged, Alexis Kiara Cross, 22, of Montgomery, with theft of property 3rd degree on Monday, March 6, 2023.

Investigators say the suspect forcibly entered the business and stole $1,200.00 in cash and miscellaneous merchandise.
Investigators say they have identified a suspect involved in the business burglary. Brian D. Abbott of Chilton County has been charged in this case. Abbott was apprehended by police and charged with burglary 3rd degree, theft of property 2nd degree, and criminal mischief 1st degree.

On Tuesday, February 14, 2023, State Bureau of Investigations investigators released photos of unknown subjects wanted for questioning regarding an ongoing felony theft investigation. The offense occurred, between Saturday, February 4, and February 6, 2023, at Alabama Department of Economic and Community Affairs Surplus, 4590 Mobile Highway, Montgomery, Alabama. Investigators say the suspects stole property from this location and left the scene in an unknown direction of travel.
Central Alabama CrimeStoppers was notified by investigators and were advised that one suspect involved in this ongoing investigation has been identified and was in police custody. Dalvin Mitchell, 31, was charged with 14 counts of unlawful breaking and entering into a vehicle and a warrant for theft of property 1st degree. Mitchell also had an outstanding felony domestic violence warrant which was also served.

Jackson was also wanted by Prattville Police Department for a sex offender workplace restriction violation.
Montgomery investigators say Jackson failed to register in the month of November 2022. Jackson also failed to register a compliant address.
Jackson, a child sex offender, has been located by police and is now in police custody. Jackson is currently being held in Montgomery County Detention Facility on a 30,000.00 bond. Jackson also has a warrant pending with the Prattville Police Department.

Investigators say the suspects, two adults, entered the business with a juvenile and stole multiple bottles of perfume.

Investigators notified Central Alabama CrimeStoppers and advised they were able to identify the suspects as, Roshaun Pritchett Neely, 52, of Columbus, Georgia, and Crystal Michelle Austin, 43, of Decatur, Georgia. Both subjects were taken into custody and charged with theft of property 3rd degree, a Class D felony, on Sunday, January 15, 2023.

The suspects left the business without paying for the merchandise.

The offense occurred, Thursday, November 3, 2022, at Walmart, 145 Kelley Boulevard, Millbrook, Alabama. Investigators say the suspect entered the business at this location, took two 43-inch televisions without paying, and exited the business.
Tuesday, December 20, 2022, investigators notified CrimeStoppers and advised the pictured suspect was identified as Patrick Watts of Huntsville, Alabama. Watts was taken into custody and charged with theft of property 3rd degree, a Class D felony.

Investigators advise that Ajanee Dijon Vinson, 26, of Phenix City, was arrested and charged with the Tallassee June 8 armed robbery of Subway.
After arrested, Vinson was taken the Elmore County Jail and charged with Robbery 1st degree.
The female suspect was also identified and interviewed and is no longer wanted by Law Enforcement. She was charged with unrelated charges by the Phenix City Police Department. No other details were released.

Anonymous tips identified Montgomery resident Kurtavious Karlinski Davis (46 yoa) as the suspect, after CrimeStoppers released his photo to the media on June 17, 2019. Davis was taken into custody by investigators from the Alabama State University Department of Public Safety on June 19, 2019.
Kurtavious Davis was charged with 3 counts of Burglary 3rd degree, 3 counts of Theft of Property, and Criminal Mischief signed by Alabama State University. Davis was also charged with Theft of Property 1st degree for stealing a golf cart from Huntington College on Monday, June 7, 2019, and Failure to Appear warrants from 2016 Theft of Property and Criminal Mischief offenses that occurred on Faulkner University campus. Davis is currently being held at the Montgomery County Detention Facility.

Jermaine O’Neal Phillips was wanted by the Covington County Sheriff’s Office.
An anonymous tipster contacted Central Alabama CrimeStoppers and gave information that led to the arrest of Jermaine Phillips who was wanted by the Covington County Sheriff’s Office for 2 counts of Violation of Sex Offender Registration and Notification Act and Possession of Marijuana. The tipster was afraid that Phillips was going to do harm to a child in Detroit, Michigan.
Information was forwarded to ALEA Special Victim’s Unit. The Special Victim’s Unit was able to relay information to the Detroit Michigan United States Marshals’ Fugitive Task Force who was able to take Phillips into custody at his workplace.
Phillips will be prosecuted out of the Eastern District of Michigan for 18 USC 2250, the Adam Walsh Child Protection & Safety Act of 2006. A hold will also be placed on Phillips after the Eastern District of Michigan releases him for the Covington County Sheriff’s Office.

Jacab Irving was charged with capital murder after he was taken into custody this morning by the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force and the Elmore County Sheriff’s Office.
Jacab Irving, 28, was wanted for murder in connection to a homicide that occurred on June 15, 2018 in the 1600 block of Dale Drive. The victim, Timothy Martinez was pronounced dead at the scene.
Following his arrest, Irving was transported to the Montgomery County Detention Facility, where he is being held without bond.

The Troy Police Department and Prattville Police Department compared photos taken from a CrimeStoppers release to connect the suspects to the theft of an I-phone that had occurred in Prattville, Alabama.
James Lewis Banks, 21, from Montgomery was arrested by the Troy Police Department on May 15, 2018 and charged with one count of Theft of Property 2nd degree and one count of Theft of Property 3rd degree. Arrested along with Banks were four juveniles under the age of 18. The juveniles were also from Montgomery and each was charged with one count of Theft of Property 2nd degree and one count of Theft of Property 3rd degree from offenses that occurred in Troy.
Prattville Investigators are working with Troy Investigators to charge three of the suspects with the Prattville I-phone theft.
