DEATH INVESTIGATION - ASSISTANCE NEEDED
On 6-5-19 at approximately 7:05am, the Freeport Police Department located Thomas Fort, age 45, of Freeport deceased in a vacant lot in the 500 block of E. Iroquois Street in Freeport. During the investigation information was obtained that Thomas Fort was physically assaulted by at least one suspect in the 600 block of West Stephenson Street earlier that morning (June 5th).
The investigation into the death of Thomas Fort is continuing and the Freeport Police Department is asking that anyone who may have information to come forward.
