On October 11, 2025 at about 5:15 in the morning, two storage units were broken into at 1505 46th Avenue, Moline.  These two suspects crawled through an opening in the perimeter fence then cut the lock on one of the units to gain entry.  Damage was done to the drywall between the two units and the contents of the units were ransacked and damaged. MURDER OF JULIUS MATHEW REMAINS UNSOLVED - $2500 REWARD OFFERED - RI23-03778

SUSPECT USES STOLEN CREDIT CARD IN MOLINE, DAVENPORT AND KEWANEE - MO25-05325

On April 23, 2025, the male pictured here used stolen credit card information at Menards in Moline for an on-line order and pick-up of a generator valued at about $1,300. He was seen leaving in a white Ford Explorer. The suspect is described as being 20-30 years old, with a short beard, wearing a gray ball cap, black long-sleeved shirt and brown overalls.  The suspect also wore earing studs. PURSE STOLEN AT PLANET FITNESS, MOLINE - MO25-03714

On July 3, 2025, Moline Police took two reports of thefts from lockers at Planet Fitness. A victim’s purse containing credit cards was taken.  Later this same day, the pictured subject used one of the stolen credit cards while in Orion, Illinois. The Planet Fitness in Davenport experienced similar thefts this same weekend. On October 31, 2018, shortly after 10:00 am, Corey Harrell Jr. was shot and killed while driving his vehicle in front of Moline City Hall.  No arrests have been made yet in this case.  Both the family and police are seeking justice.    The crime occurred in broad daylight. POLICE SEEKING INFORMATION ON MURDER OF CATRELL REED

MURDER OF JENTRELL LEE STILL UNDER INVESTIGATION - RI25-00371
March 28, 2025

On Sunday, January 26, 2025 at approximately 8:21 P.M. the Rock Island Police Department responded to a call of a gunshot victim at UnityPoint Trinity hospital. Upon arrival, officers learned that 16-year old Jentrell Lee was suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound, and had been dropped off by an unknown person. MAN MURDERED IN KEWANEE - PERSON OF INTEREST SOUGHT - 2024-41786200419

The Illinois State Police Division of Criminal Investigation Zone 2 and the Henry Mercer County Investigative Task Force are investigating a homicide in Kewanee, Illinois. On June 8, 2024, the Kewanee Police Department responded to a welfare check in the 800 block of West Division Street. Upon arrival, officers discovered Damon Foulks (Age 50) unresponsive and he was pronounced deceased. James Reed III (Age 26) from Kewanee has been identified as a person of interest. Agents are actively trying to locate Reed. Please do not approach him. MURDER OF AMANI KAMATA STILL UNDER INVESTIGATION - RI22-05716

On July 10, 2022 at about 7:00 am, Rock Island Police officers responded to the area of 12th Street and 10th Avenue on report of a male laying on the sidewalk.  They discovered that victim Amani Kamata was deceased from gunshot wounds to his chest.  Investigation revealed he was shot at around 11:30 pm on July 9th. COAL VALLEY ATTEMPTED MURDER STILL UNSOLVED - 2020-000246
March 19, 2021

One year ago, on March 11, 2020 at approximately 10:00 PM, an unknown suspect approached the front door of a home in the 1900 block of 1st Street, Coal Valley and knocked to make contact with the resident.  When the occupant of the residence answered the door, the unknown suspect shot the resident in the chest.  The victim described the suspect as a Hispanic or white male approximately 5’7”-5’10” tall with a slim build, dressed in a dark stocking cap, blue bandana covering his face from his eyes down, gray hooded sweatshirt with a lime green or yellow safety type vest over the sweatshirt and blue jeans.  The suspect is believed to have fled the area in a waiting vehicle, identified as a red or maroon late 2000 Nissan Altima, with at least one other occupant.  The Nissan fled the area southbound on 1st Street and then westbound on US Route 150.  Ballistic information has also been obtained.  At this time the Coal Valley Police Department continues to follow-up on all leads that continue to be generated.  Any person with information on this crime, please contact Crime Stoppers of the Quad Cities at 309-762-9500 or use our mobile app P3 Tips.  You will remain anonymous and you could earn a cash reward.

FAMILY STILL WANTS ANSWERS IN THIS COLD CASE FATAL HIT AND RUN - 2003-004349
October 25, 2018

On August 3, 2003 at about 1:45 a.m. Shannon Williams, Age 29, was walking in the westbound lanes of Illinois Route 5 in East Moline when he was struck by an unknown passenger car, described as a white, early 90`s model sedan; possibly an Impala, Celebrity, LeSabre, Dynasty or Electra that has a square, boxy body style.  The car then fled the scene westbound on Route 5. Bystanders came from Two River`s Tavern (Now known as Chopper's) and rendered first aid to Williams, who was found lying on the north side of the westbound lanes.  Another bystander attempted to follow the suspect vehicle, but lost it in traffic somewhere near Barstow Road.  Williams was transported to Illini Hospital by ambulance, and was later transferred to Trinity West Medical Center, where died.  The public’s help is needed to solve this 15 year old cold case.  The family wants to know who hit Shannon and left the scene.  If you have information, call the tip line 309-762-9500 or submit your tip using the free app P3 Tips.  All tips are anonymous and you could earn a cash reward of up to $2,500.

MURDER OF CAINNAN GATES STILL UNSOLVED
